[spoiler=Lore]During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that would inflict damage to you: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, your opponent takes the damage instead, also banish this card when it leaves the field. During your Main Phase, if this card is in the Graveyard because it was sent there this turn: You can banish this card; Special Summon up to 2 "D/D Hydras" from your Deck, also any damage your opponent takes becomes halved for the rest of this turn. You can only use each effect of "D/D Hydra" once per turn.

It's first effect is cute, working together with the Covenant/Contact cards. The last effect is pretty mediocre, depending on you not bricking to make an impact.

I was thinking on making the grave effect without restrictions, but wouldnt that make OP instead? cause you re right on not bricking to make this function well, however you run lamia, green slimes and stuff to ditch it in your turn, that effect is still mali on steroids; instant rank 7 or more synchro plays and its a transmodify target if you wish so.

What I'm saying is that Destiny HERO - Malicious effect isn't a good direction to take this card (at least in practicality).
