Valkyrus
When your opponent declares a direct attack, you can Special Summon this card from your hand, then, if you do, you can Synchro Summon 1 Synchro monster using this card and 1 non-Tuner monster in your hand as Synchro Materials. Darj
Shouldn't it have a Synchro Summoning effect similar to Formula Synchron or Yang Zings? I suggest the following as text fix: When your opponent declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do/then, you can, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Synchro monster, using this card you control and 1 non-Tuner monster in your hand (this is a Quick Effect). Fix aside, I like this card and it's strong IMO. Basically a Synchro Summon hand trap that should work really well with Synchros with on-Summon and/or Quick Effects. Also since it skips requiring the non-Tuner on the field, you can use Level5+ non-Tuners from the hand and access bigger Synchros with relatively more ease than the usual way. The activation requirement is just fine IMO since it means that more often than not you must have a field clear of monsters to Summon this with its effect, and thus having a vulnerable board, in exchange of dropping a Synchro right away to block the attack and defend. Although you can get lucky if the opponent is playing a direct attacker.

Backwards compatible with Kuribohrn and instead of reducing damage or negating an attack, you put a big Synchro Monater in front of your opponent. Even if you don't manage to trigger an effect, you still present them with an obstacle.

Note taken, I'll fix the text soon.I also just realized this could be used quite well in Ritual Decks since you can use a Ritual in your hand as the non-Tuner material.Other decks that could use this card well, off the top of my head: Blue-eyes and Psyframes

Except maybe Necloth/Nekroz, as they can Ritual Summon from the Graveyard.

And a field wipefrom your hand, on your opponent's turn is really powerful.
leafbladie
Blue-Eyes could use this really well since it's a light, level 1 tuner. As a hand trap I think I would easily run this over effect veiler, since it can get dead alternatives out of my hand if I don't have a vanilla. Also, not sure if this is super relevant, but shouldn't you make it so it ends the attacking monster's attack altogether, similar to the other Kuribohs, just food for thought. Also, you could easily use this in a Kuriboh deck to get your Kuribohrn in the grave, and draw a card with Formula Synchron, so it at least has some synergy with its own archetype too, which is nice.
