Posted July 24, 2016 Report Share Posted July 24, 2016 After weeks of being back, I finally decided to actually post a card :L I don't know if there is a card in Yugioh that has an effect like this. (Probably does exist.) 2 Level 6 MonstersThere can only be 1 face-up "Anti-Power Parasite" on the field. When this card is Xyz Summoned: remove all Xyz Materials from it. Once per turn: select 1 Xyz Monster; remove all Xyz Materials from it. Equip all removed Xyz Materials from the targeted monster to this card. For each Xyz Material equipped to this monster; increase it's ATK and DEF by 1000. Once per turn: If this card is targeted by a card effect; banish it. Sleepy Posted July 25, 2016 Report Share Posted July 25, 2016 The self-banishing effect is too much of a drawback considering it is mandatory for it to banish itself if targeted so your opponent will get rid of it pretty easily. It'll also come back with no equips so all your work will be gone. The effect that prevents you from having multiples at a time on the field is also overkill. Nothing abusive would come from it. I mean, they couldn't even pass around themselves those stats because they don't even re-attach what they detach. Rank 6 monsters have to be pretty good to be used next to cards like Messier 7, Beyond Utopia, Beatrice, Photon Strike Bouncer, and other Rank 6 monsters that start up with a solid ATK stat right off the bat, an effect that fills up for some niche somewhere, and that don't need much extra dedication to work/maintain. If this card's purpose is to be anti-Xyz, I'd say it feels inefficient. It equips so you are turning the attachments he steals into copies of Axe of Despair that just clog the field up, giving it an annoying cap that gets in the way of backrow and might eventually prevent you from further stealing materials for the sake of disrupting the opponent.Not to mention its ATK growth is going to go very slowly. On average, if your opponent would consistently bring out Xyzs for you to work with, they'd most likely use a 2 material Xyz that'd immediately detach 1 material to use its effect that same turn. If you steal from that it'll be super slowly growing at 1000 ATK per turn, and for a Rank 6 it simply won't do. Now, you could bring out your own Utopia and provide yourself like that an easy 3 materials to absorb, but even that would just put it on around the ATK standard of any other Rank 6, but as basically a vanilla because it'd have to put up with just being ATK stats and nothing else for the rest of the turn, unlike other Rank 6 options.With that said, it'd be fine if it didn't detach its own materials when Xyz Summoned, so that its average 1 steal per turn it'll MAYBE achieve will put it at a respectable 3000 ATK and a utopia combo at 5000 ATK, which is what the Utopia evolutions already pretty much do for Utopia without having to resort to a different Rank like this card.If you are worried by the insane amount it'd eventually be able to amaze with all I've said, don't worry, the combos needed to abuse my suggestions can already OTK much more efficiently by themselves anyways, in fact, those combos aren't likely to go to a Rank 6 like this card which cannot be Ranked-up into because of the weird Type/Attribute combination. So my suggestion would be something along these lines:Gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each Xyz Material attached to it. Once per turn: You can target 1 Xyz Monster on the field; detach all Xyz Materials from it, and if you do, attach them to this card. That's pretty much all the card really is once you take out the drawbacks you charged into it. Now if you want to keep an escape effect for it, I think what'd work is something along the lines ofIf this card is targeted by a card effect: You can banish it, and if you do, you can Special Summon it during your next Main Phase 1 with 1000 less ATK and DEF then when it left the field. Darj Posted July 25, 2016 Report Share Posted July 25, 2016 I agree with the above: the card could be better as an anti-Xyz Rank6, and the given suggestions are nice. At least 1 material-detacher, anti-Xyz Xyz Monster already exists: Temtempo the Percussion Djinn. The main differences are that it is Rank3 instead of 6 and it only detaches 1 Xyz Material from its target without keeping it to itself, in exchange of being a quick effect ("Once per turn, during either player's turn:"). Considering the latter, I think this card could very well get away as a quick effect as well, effectively turning it into an improved, but higher Rank, Temtempo. Also, increasing its DEF to 3000 or so should be acceptable IMO, mostly for it to defend while it gathers Xyz Materials to boost its ATK: as explained above, the card is competing with strong Rank6s with base stats around 2700 ATK and/or 2800 DEF, and thus 0/2000 stats look lackluster in comparison, whereas a DEF of 3000 will give it the capability of walling even if it doesn't get the chance to use its effect.
