LORE:Any "Genex" monster added to your hand (except by this card's effect) is Special Summoned instead. Once per turn, you can banish 1 "Genex" monster from your Graveyard; add 1 "Genex" monster with a different name from your Deck to your hand. During your Main Phase, you can Normal Summon 1 "Genex" monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.)

This card looks freaking amazing. 3 good effects on a single card. It should allow Genex to put into work the relatively strong search power they already have with their R-Genex; I can already picture them Summoning at least 2 Synchros/Xyzs in a single turn through this card. They would still have to jump through some hoops given the assorted levels of the R-Genex searchers (Turbo, Crusher, Magma, etc.), though.

I want to highlight how the first effect will also apply on Genex monsters added to the hand from from anywhere instead of just the Deck like R-Genex Accelerator does, so it pretty much turns cards such as Dark Eruption, and even Salvage if you are running Undine and some WATER techs, into pseudo-revival cards; this is such a nice and interesting perk.

Overall it is a strong card, but for a forsaken archetype, plus it remains flavorful by strengthening their search playstyle while addressing their need of extra Summons, so it should be acceptable IMO.

I can't tell if it's a Field or Continuous Spell. This is important to clear up because having multiples of this on the field can lead to extended plays, given the lack of a hard OPT clause on its searching effect.

Oh yeah; it's a Field Spell, but I have to generate it again for it to register properly on the card.

really, the more possible combos I think involving this card, the more amusing I find it.

For instance:

Have this, Genex Undine and Salvage

1. Activate Contact

2. Normal Summon Undine

3. With Undine's effect, mill another copy of Undine to search fo Genex Controller

4. Genex Controller gets Special Summoned by Contact

6. Summon a Synchro6 or Rank3 and if the latter, use its effect to detach Undine

7. Activate Salvage to recover the 2 Undines

8. The Undines get Special Summoned by Contact

9. Go for a Rank3

10. Keep the plays coming with the extra Normal Summon plus the searching effect from Contact

Geez, this is one of those times one wishes a WATER was either Level2 or 4, for Treatoad plays...

Anyway, other cute plays are Normal Summoning a Level4 and a Turbo who picks a Genex Recycled so you can drop a Trishula. Or Normal Summon 2 Turbos, pick 2 Recyled and make a Chidori + a Rank2, or a Trishula and then drop a Synchro10.

Hmm... I just realized the Special Summoning effect of this card is not optional... that may get in the way if one wishes to search for a Genex with an on-Normal Summon effect. You may want to make it optional, but either way works; if anything, keeping it mandatory is a bit more restrictive and forces the player to be more careful with what he/she searches.

The card being Field Spell is nice as it makes it searchable by Terraforming and replaceable by Ancient Fairy Dragon. In fact, it seems Fairy Dragon can add to your plays by replacing a Contact, whose search effect has been already used, with a new one and get an additional search.
