Flash Flyer - Sakura
As it stands right now, card's basically a banish version of Dark Hole. While yeah, you need to actually have a monster out and have a card to pay the discard cost so it's not literally Raigeki, I'm not really on-board with this card's effect. Not really sure what Decks can actually benefit from the banished monsters though, outside of maybe Shiranui to recover their resources, but I don't know if they have the space as I'm not wholly familiar with them. Suppose it would be nice for removing stuff like 'specters or whatever else that can't die via normal effect removal (and yeah, gets around Stardust's protection effects), so there's that. Self-Destruct Button
You use the card, discard something AND need a monster, basic -3 right there. So unless your opponent has 3 monsters or more, you're not even breaking even with it. So: No, it's not viable. We got Raigeki and Dark Hole for mass removal, and they are relatively fair, so I don't really get where you're coming from with that card. If you make a banishing Raigeki-esque card, chances are it will most likely be garbage or stupidly broken, so I'd not recommend trying that. Kudos to you though, the restrictions are smart enough to not make it broken or terrible, but it's still less than mediocre because the design idea is flawed. Yeah, I see what you mean... the idea is a bit 'poor'... So I'll just highlight its good sides :¤ it's a Quick-Spell¤ if it requires you to have a monster when you activate it, it does not require you to have one when it resolves¤ it banishes (no more "cannot be destroyed by battle", effects from the grave, nor Starlight Road [which is pretty interesting in the current format], but, yeah, Imperial Iron Wall...) Now, I must admit that, yes, discarding 1 card is a painful cost : so should I change it to something like "Pay 800 Life Points", or just leave it and make other cards ? :/
