Toffee.
[spoiler=Version 1] During your Standby Phase, return this face-up card you control to your hand. You can only activate 1 of the following effects of "The Great Red Ox, King of the Beasts" per turn. If this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can Tribute 1 EARTH monster you control and Banish 1 other EARTH monster from your Graveyard: Special Summon this card. If this card is Summoned in this way, it gains 1000 ATK. You can discard this card and 1 other EARTH monster to the Graveyard, then target 1 EARTH monster in your Graveyard with a Level equal to or lower then the Level of the other Discarded monster; Special Summon that target. Ideally I'm trying to go for a more balanced version of Redox- Not that Redox really needs to be balanced or anything, but toning it down seems like a safer bet.... Or at least, in theory. Sleepy
The "Tribute 1 + banish 1" cost would have been fine back in the day, making them a +0 in exchange for an easier Level 7.Though nowadays it'd need a Tribute that could combo with it. It'd probably love to be able to Tribute Hyeratics... Makes me want to suggest the Tribute + banish to be any monsters but just include an EARTH among them (whichever of the two). Or it can also stay as is. There's nothing that'd really benefit from it but it'd open up new design possibilities for other cards. I don't think the revival being just for EARTH is that appealing though, not after having Redox in the game whose revival effect was pretty fair IMO. Overall, if Redox would only be able to come back as Limited, then it is understandable that a remake would be weaker, so it's interesting. Not because Hieraitcs wouldn't exactly benefit from This because they aren't really a Rank 7.dek, but because I get what your saying in terms of letting it be more experimental. I'm only really keeping the Level limitation because created cards are always implied to be in 3s- It's basically a Monster Reborn otherwise. 'Course, I could remove the level limitation as well, if you want.
