Black D'Sceptyr
[spoiler=Infinity Beyond: Errata]___________________*Pic credit to CrazyValkyrie._____________________ Field Spell Card Lore: Each "Cyber Dragon" on the field cannot be destroyed by battle once per turn. Once per turn: You can discard 1 "Cyber" monster; add 1 "Cyber" monster that is either banished or in your Deck to your hand with a different Level than the discarded monster's Level. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn: You can pay 2100 LP and send 1 "Power Bond", 1 "Overload Fusion" or 1 "Cyberdark Impact!" from your Deck to your Graveyard; this effect becomes that sent card's effect when it is activated, but the ATK of the Fusion Monster you Fusion Summon becomes 2100, also its name becomes "Cyber Dragon". Consistency and setup. The main twin issues of Cybers that have ensured that an Archtype that is otherwise well known for flood-gating and OTK-ing its surrounding competitors into oblivion...only does so in OTHER DECKS. No. BLOODY. LONGER. I only wish the best for this Archetype, and made this in order to express aa need to fill the cracks in its formation. Plus, setting up the backline and Graveyard in two fell swoops-especially by banishment, something a certain Level 4 Cyber Dragon monster (hinthint) will benefit very nicely from. Really tho, I've had this in back-tow for awhile and decided now would be as good a time as any to give this Archetype the boost it needs. Anyways, let the reviews and revelry arrive in abundance. BDS, signing off.
leafbladie
Well, I decided to try and take a crack at reviewing it, don't expect it to be amazing. Was a bit wary of the battle protection for "Cyber Dragon", but since it only protects the OG one, or one's that share its name, which are even weaker, it's fine. While "Cyber Dragon" changed the state of the meta by being an easily summonable 2K+ attacker, it eventually got outclassed as time went on, and we got stuff like "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon". Though, seriously, if you gave battle protection to Infinity, I think I'd scream, as I can really only get over it first turn by summoning that Alternative I mentioned earlier from my hand, and ramming into it. I like the discard effect having that Level restriction so it can't just be used for deck thinning by replacing a card in the hand with the same one from the deck, however, put a HOPT on that effect, so you can't use play another one of these and uses its effect again. Anyway, it definitely gives more reason to run "Proto-Cyber Dragon", since's a Level 3, allowing you to get your Level 2 "Cyber Dragon Core" for a Cyber Spell/Trap search, or your Level 4 "Cyber Dragon Drei" to get your Infinity out early. If you had Core in the hand, and went second, you could pitch it to the Grave, add Drei, then use Core's effect in the Graveyard to SS OG CD, then Normal Summon Drei, and get out Nova and then Infinity. I realize the banishing from the hand is for Drei's effect, but it only applies to OG Cyber Dragon or its clones, and it's actually pretty important for Infinity, so banishing it before it even sees okay seems a bit annoying, maybe if you made it such that it can banish 1 from the Deck or something. I always cry when I see "Evolution Burst" because of how Awful it is for a Signature Move card. Also, being able to use "Overload Fusion" and "Power Bond" together seem a bit much. I think it should just be the former, and something of a game turn around. It's better to set up Infinity First, and get more Cyber Dragon's to the field, but once your field is wiped, you could have Overload Fusion, to make use of those Cyber Dragons in the Graveyard for a Chimeratech monster, or maybe Cyber End Dragon. Or if you want to get gimmicky maybe "Cyber Eltanin". Anyway, cool card, but I wish it focused a bit more on improving both the Xyz and Fusion mechanics of Cyber Dragon, maybe making it easier for them to swarm the field or something. Black D'Sceptyr
Time Warp again-with a revised effect.
The Nyx Avatar
The first effect is a good way to search and recover lost Cyber monsters; but what's amazing is how there's plenty of Cyber monsters outside pf Cyber Dragon (like Etoile Cyber and Cyber Tutu just to name a few). So this field Spell has a lot of potential use. The next effect is okay; a way of bringing out the Fusion monsters. It may sound pretty potent, but I'd zay the cost keeps it in check. Overall, a great Field Spell that helps bring in consistency and Fusion plays to Cyber monsters. I rather like it.
