Interesting card, yet another Kalut type of monster (and I actually prefer "You get a tactical bonus" more than "You win without any thinking involved").

Actually this card is a cute gamble (unless one stacks), considering it is a (-1) if it works and a (+1) if it works (if one counts its body as a whole card).

That aside this card is support for one of the worst designed archtypes (in terms of consistency and the likes of it) and while it helps the archtype it is definitely not enough and might just have been a consistency device for the actual playmakers (the spells), so that the archtype would be less terrible, then again they got gokou ... so an additional body for synchros, on top of the usual 4 is actually quite amazing.

See, it seems that way when you only think of archetype consistency as "How many cards search". With this card as well as "Card Retrieval"; Cardians have a solid repertoire of "Play Starters", we'll call them. The consistency of the deck suffered GREATLY When all they had was Matsu and Flower Gathering. Now, with the stack-3 card and the generic nomis, that improved considerably; and even though Chokoikoi is mostly luck-based, it still has its uses. But, with now this, and Card Retrieval, the deck's dependency on the Normal Summon has decreased considerably; any Cardian Spell is a spell you want to draw (on a normal draw) or open with. Now, combine the deck's inherent draw power with the ability to make use of the now-triple Allure, and we're looking at a different deck than what we started with.

Now of course, bricking is still above-average compared to other decks because of how many cards you will be running that don't like being running on their own. However, despite not having any real searching cards, I will argue that this archetype is not, in fact, poorly designed in its consistency. Consistency isn't just searching; it refers, in general, to how consistent the deck plays. Cardians, with their drawing, stacking, and more drawing, have a different kind of consistency that, while very luck-based in compared to other decks, owns that kind of charm in its flavor and theme, and that's a big part of what makes them so fun to play.

I'll definitely have a deck guide posted for Cardians sometime in the future; I feel like people just aren't giving these poor boys a fair chance sometimes unu
