Duelist Kingdom Revived

Recommended Posts

G'day everyone, Taro-San here!

I'm fairly new to the Yu-Gi-Oh card maker scene, so any any all advice/constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. ^^

My aim is to create a plethora of Duelist Kingdom style Yu-Gi-Oh cards, that reflect the relatively weak duel monsters in the early Yu-Gi-Oh arks (Such as Duelist Kingdom). I will try to update regularly.

Also if anyone could comment on how to post my cards i would be most grateful.

Enjoy XD

Okay, while I keep forgetting how to do images in this forum, you can always do writtens. Here are a couple of base examples:

Skelengel

LIGHT - Level 2 - Fairy/Effect - 900/400

FLIP: Draw 1 card.

Pot of Greed

Normal Spell

Draw 2 cards.

But yeah, this thread is getting locked once Sakura notices it. Keep written cards in mind for the future, though!

You technically have two ways to post cards. One is the above method (written) and is easier to update if changes need to be made. Another option is the cardmaker (or whatever program you'd like to make cards on).

If you post images, do this:

  • If using the cardmaker, open it in another tab, find card, left-click to generate an IMG code, then copy/paste that code into your post.
    • However, because the auto upload function is still not fixed, you'll have to save the card to your desktop, then upload it elsewhere on Imgur or another image host.
  • If you're using another program to make cards (TCGEditor, personal templates, etc.) or uploading cards that you saved to desktop, then go to Imgur and upload the cards there. You should be given the same type of IMG code that you would've gotten from the cardmaker. If you just get a link, then you'll need to put it in the code brackets yourself. (Click the picture button to get the pop-up box for IMG; it's next to the link button)

Second method is a real pain if you have multiple cards, so advisable to do the first option.

But yeah, I gotta lock this because no cards. If you post a thread in Custom Cards, you need to have at least 1 card for us to look at.
