How much input can/should we give for a new card(s)

Does giving much input for a card (or cards) work negatively for discussions to occur or it's actually more adviceable to do so? I checked the first 2 pages of TCG/OCG Card Discussion and there's minimal to no input.

At the very minimum, you should mention your general opinion on the cards and if you're knowledgeable about its interactions with the existing pool (either Archetypal stuff or whatever), mention them as you see fit. If you opt for the second one, just make sure you have an idea of what you're talking about.

 

Answering your other question, it depends. If you give an analysis on the card(s) in question, it gives other users a better idea of what it does. (i.e. Black when he analyzes the new stuff). Also, don't just rehash the card's utilities in your post (restate the card).

While warns have never been needed for his posts, many of them have been brought up as examples of shitposting, albeit with no ill intent.

 

He's hardly the worst example, but he's the most consistently there.
