[spell Card] Quick-play

Roll a six-sided die: Excavate 6 cards from the top of each player's Deck. Among those cards, you must banish opponent's cards face-down equal to the result, and discard from your excavated cards by the same amount. After that, return the remaining cards to the top of their owner's Deck in any order. You can only activate this effect of "Nurture the Seed of Chaos" once per turn.

Controlled mill, but still dependent on your die roll (at least 1) and whatever happens to be on top of your Deck.
It also at worst gives you control over your opponent's next draw(s), and can permanently deal with some of their key cards. Though with the amount of search nowadays in decks, don't expect the deck arrangement to last more than one turn.

Roll a six-sided die: Both Players Excavates the top 6 cards of their respective Decks. from the top of each player's Deck; Choose same number of cards from your opponents excavated cards as the result and banish them face down. Among those cards, you must banish opponent's cards face-down equal to the result, and discard from your excavated cards by the same amount. After that, Return the remaining cards to the top of their owner's Deck in any order. You can only activate this effect of "Nurture the Seed of Chaos" once per turn.

Really made me sweat there.. Thought I'd take up challenge. While I don't know how I did with wording, I know that this card is in no way balanced.  Think about it most decks need something to mill, this card grants milling; + control over your decks Opponent; + arranging your own deck; +You don't have any kind of cost for activation; + on top of everything it's a Quick-Play Spell card. It needs some kind of rework and nerfs. Just giving it cost, I believe will not be enough.

Artwork is beautiful thou. I'm interested, are you making them yourself?

I get what you mean with the wording. It's a pretty weird fest to tackle.

Though the way it was worded was because your opponent's cards get bannished face-down, and you mill (send to the Graveyard) by the same amount from your excavated cards. Your correction seemed to delete the milling on the card owner's end of the effect. That'd certainly balance it out, though not sure if I'd like to eliminate that part of it. I'll try thinking on something because it does do a little more than most of the other similar effects like Needlebug Nest. I for starters will make it a Normal Spell. I'll edit the entry in a bit~

As for the artworks, I can't take the credit for all the art in cards I make, for example the Fusion Pendulum in the other thread was not mine.

Though I did draw this Chaos root-thing. Here's the bigger non-cropped version of it: http://sleepy17.deviantart.com/art/Root-of-Chaos-579153544

Thank you for the comments =)

So you reused the art of Flipping Chaos Root for this one. Does that mean its Flip monster version was scrapped? That's a shame because I liked it.

Anyway, I do agree it looks strong as a selective miller + banisher of potentially key cards from the opponent's deck + topdeck re-arrangements on both sides, in addition to being Quick Play for disruptive plays during the opponent's turn and backrow removal baiting.

Ideas I have for toning it down is making it a Normal Spell/Trap, and/or making it excavate cards equal to the die result, rather than a fixed 6. If going for the latter, but you don't want this card simply excavating 1 with a die result of 1, you can make it reroll if the result is 1.

I will give it a try to the wording:

Roll a six-sided die and excavate the top 6 cards from both player's Decks, then send a number of cards to the Graveyard excavated from your Deck and banish face-down a number of cards excavated from your opponent's Deck equal to the die result, also place the remaining cards on the top of their owner's Decks in any order. You can only activate 1 "Nurture the Seed of Chaos" per turn.
