Sleepy
It's a pretty clever nerf, one I never really thought of using myself at CC. It's a pretty good idea... actually. Can't control Ritual/Fusion/Synchro/Xyz, or Special Summon-only monsters. That is, until Konami makes any of the above with the Gemini sub-Type. It is pretty loyal to the uses it had back in DM/GX days, it keeps all the liberties of whatever you wanna do with your brainwashed target, but one can't help but think "now it won't take most bosses"... and to a degree that's true. It can take the True Kings, right? I remember those guys were Normal Summoned even though they Tribute S/T cards... Unless they also have immunity to this... Haven't seen them up close. Atypical-Abbie
Anti-Monarchs is the one thing I see from this, though I guess we don't need that anymore. Still, nice to see this coming back, even if it's meh now.
evilfusion
So...it can't steal Nomis? It doesn't say that "was" NS/Set. Only that the target needs to be ABLE to be NS/Set. Which means it can't steal Extra Deck cards like Fusions, Xyz, or Synchros. I guess that's a significant nerf, actually.
Progenitor
Yeah, it's definitely a nerf. However you still get free reign on what that monster can do. You can attack, make something, use it's effect, etc. It ultimately is one of the more versatile snatchers now, so being restricted to only monsters that can be NS is fine I guess. There are plenty of targets in general in most situations, especially in the early game.
Slinky
Only problem with this, is that the vast majority of normal summon-able cards tend to not stay on the field, because they are generally used for something else that this can't target, so you'll often find yourself with a field of untargetables, which drastically reduces its versatility.
