Flamvell Chain

Continuous Trap Card

Activate this card by targeting 1 Effect Monster on the field. Its effect(s) are negated and if it declares an attack, inflict damage to the controller of the targeted monster equal its original ATK. When the targeted monster leaves the field, destroy this card. When this card leaves the field, destroy the targeted card.

Knowing how we had Mirror Force then it had its Elemental Counterparts basically had this idea as a Fire based counterpart to Fiendish chain where the monster whose targeted attacked its owner takes damage as a result of it.

I don't find it impressive, personally: it's just a variant of Fiendish Chain that may actually be regarded as inferior, since it still allows the monster to attack, and destroying a monster by battle should very well be worth the cost of the burn. Maybe if there was a searcher for "Flamvell" Spell/Traps then this card would have an advantage over Fiendish, but there isn't any.

Not to mention that there is already a Fiendish Chain variant in Fog Blade, which it is searchable by Phantom Knights.

This is not a card I would post in the Advanced Section xD

Okay so to buff the card...

*Changed the burn to equal its ATK now.

*Made so if the card leaves the field the targeted monster is destroyed.

Oh right, I didn't suggest ideas to improve it and assumed you weren't willing to change it.

Yeah, full ATK hurts more now and at least I would think twice before attacking, or just pay the heavy cost in exchange of eliminating an opposing key monster. The last effect was unnecessary IMO, but doesn't hurt to have it, I guess.
