Fluffal Knight
Normal Spell CardChange all your face-down banished cards to face-up, then draw 1 card. During your Main Phase: If this card is currently banished face-down: You can change this card to face-up, then add it to your hand during your next Standby Phase. Chaosix
So..... what are we going off here? The only thing that banishes face-down off the top of my head is desires, and that's it. With desires, its okay i guess, getting an extra draw off if it and all. Also turning face-down banished cards face-up is great for decks that use banished cards because it allows you to use effects on them. I'm new the whole banished face-down thing and i'm not sure you can use its second effect, but all around pretty good.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I don't recall seeing a ruling about this (unless I've not cared about reading them when Konami makes new stuff); I think there was one concerning face-down banished cards in general, but not applying face-down. To be fair, don't think you can use the second effect either, but as usual, PM evilfusion for a query. (There are instances where a card can trigger its effect face-down, yes, but on the field)
Darj
Well, card text can overrule rulings so it should be able to work. But I don't like this card: it pretty much exists to break Pot of Desires by removing its banished face-down drawback AND becoming a free +1 if it is banished by it, as if drawing 2 cards wasn't strong enough that OCG decided to put it in the banlist already.Remove the last effect and it should be good enough a a +0 that makes face-down banished cards accessible. Brcien
Just a neat side note, Ghostrick Skeleton banishes stuff face down. Mtg does a bit of banishing facedown and, being a cool mechanic, I think konami will explore it more eventually.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Any thoughts on the card in general, even with those other cards that banish face-down that aren't Desires? But yeah, I agree with Darj that this appears to be intentionally designed to offset Desires's face-down banish thing (and supposedly Skeleton; mainly Desires b/c nearly everyone uses it lately, and that's the card that'll generate the most use for this otherwise). Flash Flyer - Sakura
Not really, since we have Gold Sarcorphagus that already does the same thing, except banish face-up (oh wait, Sarc goes to the Graveyard, whereas DDC needs to stay on the field). The only difference the card in the original post would make to DDC would just turn it up, but otherwise not save the card. If I remember correctly, Capsule isn't even used due to removal being abundant. Anyway...this thread's been dead for more than 2 weeks (yeah, expired yesterday), so locking it. By now, you should've been told about the Advanced Clause.
