Vampire Elder

||DARK||

✪✪✪✪✪

[Zombie / Effect]

If you control a DARK "Vampire" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "Vampire Elder" once per turn this way. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can make your opponent send 1 card of each type (Monster, Spell, and Trap) from their Deck to the Graveyard.

ATK/2000 DEF/0

It's nothing like Gravekeeper's Servant (and really is a buffed version of Vampire Lord/Lady). Also a note that milling can backfire now unless you know how to mill correctly (because graveyard stuff).

As-is, it's a strictly better Lord (well, effect-wise) and enabler for Rank 5s into Bram or something; not really sure how they play nowadays with new support, but yeah. Suppose it does give them a bit more field presence though to do things. As I mentioned earlier, it'll hurt the opponent if you can land a hit with this, but otherwise it can/will backfire (opponent sends cards that trigger upon hitting the Graveyard, and they benefit off of it).

Not really impressive IMO. Good for Rank5 plays in Vampires, but that's pretty much its main appeal. Sure, its milling effect can trigger cards like Vampire Kingdom, but by relying on battle, it is a bit slow; not to mention that the opponent can take advantage of the triple mill by sending cards that do stuff in the grave, and unlike the other Vampires that let you choose the card type so you can pick the one that is the least convenient for the opponent to mill, you don't get that option with this card.

Chances are you are better off using this for a Rank5 plays before attacking with it.

You could make the effect activate when Normal Summoned instead, so you can choose to either Special Summon it with its condition, or Normal Summon it (preferably with no Tributes through sorcerer) for the mill, without exactly outclassing other Vampires like Duke; also its effect won't trigger when Summoned by Duke or Shadow.
