Kaiji
WHEN U TOO SPOOKED TO READ ABOVE CARD IMAGE: When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can target up to 2 monsters in their Graveyard; banish those targets. Your opponent cannot banish cards from either player's Graveyard. Testing some games using Zoodiac Zarcgicians vs True Draco and then u face Master Peace smh Well I got a band-aid to supplement ur kaijus should u be scared. You can search this off Startime in order to secure a safe turn. Most people ignore Startime since they don't think ahead (obviously can and will change in the future) and assume that 2400 is too weak to beat 2950 (note that if its at 3250, then you can use Black Fang Magician to halve its attack as it cannot have Spell Immunity if its affected by +300 boost of the field spell). You will also have enough turns to search out the 1 copy of Kycoo as the game drags on, so do not search it immediately. This is due to your opponent being able to use the traps to tribute for a true draco (especially knuckle) and out your Kycoo EZ. Worth noting Violet Poison lets this reach 3000 just enuf to run over True Draco and pop the Field spell granting it protection. For those who remember how to deal with Towers Turbo, you deal with True Draco similarly. Ignore Master Peace and focus on reducing their damage output as much as possible. 2950 pokes gives you quit a few free turns to come back and deal with it later, so if you consume a buncha cards just to kill 1 Master Peace you got opened up to get destroyed by the rest of your opponent's card (just like u denied Qli's ability to pendulum summon and discard from hand + chump block). Darj
Oh, so it stops Master Peace from using its pop effect, while, unlike other "cannot banish" floodgates, it is searchable by Startime, I see.I have looked at the decklist of the top decks but I haven't properly watch them clash and fight and interact against each other like in tournament duels and whatnot, so I never thought something like this could see use. I guess Necrovalley could also work, but despite being searchable by Terrafrming, it's not accessible enough? I like how you compare Master Peace to Towers Turbo. Really, Master Peace and its Tower-ish impact motivates me to give a try to competitive YGO as opposed to just messing around with alternate, often non-tier 1 variants, but I haven't taken the time to netdeck build a proper deck. Kaiji
Thats a good point regarding Necrovalley, where the only difference is how much deck space Necrovalley requires You can do cool stuff like side 3 Festival, Necrovalley and Secret Village (prob like 2 of 1 of the field spell). Both are "dead" in opponent's care so they interchangeable depending on the match up (vs pendulum deck you can sorta solve the spellcaster by using drancia on a non-violet poison Normal summon) Also worth noting that Festival Spinning = 2 Spell counters for abductor to tie into the other thread
Darj
Festival did come to my mind when thinking about Necrovalley, and I deemed it impractical because of the deck space it requires, but the suggestion of siding it and Necrovalley along Secret Village is indeed appealing. ~~~~
Also of note is that if Master Peace is unaffected by Spells, it won't get the battle protection from Diagram. Festival Spinning either baits or stops the quick pop and if it is affected by Spells, removes the battle protection and the extra ATK. Kycoo seems better if deck space is tight or if you can't afford the minus of having to bait out Master Peace. Necrovalley seems better if you have the space and if you want your anti-grave engine to work better against other (perhaps less common) decks, such as Paleozoic. Oh and Necro also stops Tigermortar and the Revival of the True King trap and Zoodiac Lyca.
