VCR_CAT
Temporary ParadoxCounter TrapWhen a Spell or Trap Card is activated: Negate the activation, then set that card face-down instead of sending it to the Graveyard. The controlling player cannot activate that card until the end of the turn. If your opponent activates a Counter Trap Card or a Quickplay Spell Card, you can activate this card from your hand. Just had a lil' idea re: cards like Wiretap. Nothing too complex going on here.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
This is a really neat idea, it reminds me of a card from MTG (albeit this is much more narrow in use). Do counter trap cards really see play, beyond solemn? If so, this could actually be pretty good. Maybe it should be able to counter quick-play spell cards as well? I'd need to reword it to apply to Quickplay Spells as well, but more or less yeah, it's a little too narrow in the range of cards it can hit for its bonus effect. I meant for it to be able to hit traps and QP spells from field, and counter traps from hand. Now it is the best non-monster counter trap ever. I'm alright with that. I mean, if it feels a bit too good, the delay of use can just be changed until the end of the current turn until the end of the next
