Must be Link Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Link Summoned, this cards ATK becomes equal to the ATK of the monster used as this cards Link Material. While theirs a monster linked to this card, double this cards ATK.

So Double Up Fighter is a link monster that gains its materials ATK and when linked to a monster has that ATK doubled. Also with the link marker pointing down left it also puts risk on the monster this card is linked to being hit by the effects of your opponents link monsters effects as it puts that monster at the centre Main Monster Card Zone.

But what if I summon this on my left Extra Monster Zone? then the linked Zone will be sheltered at the farthest left Zone of the board.

Anyway, I find the card solid. If anything, the fact that you can use it so Summon a copy of itself can be a bit concerning, but you don't really gain much from it except for generating monster fodder in the graveyard and extra Special Summons to trigger effects and stuff, so it should be fine I guess, until it is looped and abused somehow.
