Sand-Made Lacooda

FIRE Level 6 [beast/Normal/Pendulum/Tuner] 2400/200  Scale: < 8 >

Monster Flavor:
Through the blazing sands of the wasteland it bounces on, often interpreted as a mere mirage. There is no telling where it'll pop up next.

Pendulum Effect:

If this card is face-up in your Extra Deck: You can send 1 other face-up monster from your Extra Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, activate this card as a Pendulum Scale in an unoccupied Pendulum Zone. You can only use this effect of "Sand-Made Lacooda" once per turn.

-Rekindling and Flamvell Firedog give it support.

-Link-era Pendulums might have issues making use of their accumulating face-up Extra Deck.

-Indirect support for Metalfoes letting Scales be easier to setup and allowing the deck to recover some advantage with potential engines like Dark Factory of Mass Production or Pendulum Back. It's not a perfect fit but I think Pendulumucho and this would be decent toys to experiment with.

Thoughts/comments/suggestions/corrections/etc. welcomed and encouraged~

Where is the vanilla flavor text? D:

The card is really good IMO; free Scale 8? yes please. Also, its funny how it doesn't restrict it to a Pendulum Zone in your side of the field, so you can use it to disrupt your opponent's scales as well. If anything, I would put a hard OPT there to not sustain combos or loops by getting it on the board repeatedly with its effect and destroying it again.

By the way, as an effect that activates in the Extra Deck, it is quite the oddity, since there are no effects that negate or lock card effects in that zone, except blanket monster effect negation like Solemn Strike, etc. Not that it's a bad thing, but just interesting xD

Oops, actually was meant to have a hard OPT clause.... IDK why I forgot to put it in when writing, but thanks for the reminder xD

EDIT:

Updated the OP with a small line of flavor text and the hard OPT clause.
