ÆƵ–
Well, judging by the wording and rules we have on Extra Deck monsters, I'd say it'd go to the MMZ. But, this brings up the interesting point that Decode and Encode talker won't be the only code talkers. interesting indeed
evilfusion
The EMZ rules, to my knowledge, only affect you Summoning FROM the Extra Deck. SSing an Extra Deck monster from the Graveyard or Banish Zone go to the MMZ. The wording about the EMZ being empty is probably so you can't do weird Link shenanigans. Every monster summoned from the Grave, unless an effect says otherwise, goes to the MMZ.
Atypical-Abbie
To confirm, Special Summoning from the Graveyard/banished will put a Link Monster in the Main Monster Zone. It is odd that it mentions there not being something in the Extra Monster Zone, though don't take that as proof you can do that, unless they specify it to put it in the Extra Monster Zone (which they surely will at some point). Also, is this the first card that's able to Summon a Link Monster differently? Onto the card itself, well Encode Talker may be more useful now, I wasn't too sure about it, but being able to pull it out with no real effort is nice. It's interesting, I figured that Yusaku wouldn't be using Archetypes, though now that I think of it, all main characters actually have, even if Yuma switched it up a bit more and Yusei only kind of did. Blake
Card is bad. It's too slow for an effect that basically just gives you more of what you had. Sure, it gives you "2" Link 3s by removing one you had already laddered with, but it takes a turn to give you that, and you only get one of those at a time. It's not irredeemable garbage, but it's certainly not good.
