MrMagic88
Pot of Resurgence Banish up to 2 cards from your graveyard. Add a copy of one of those cards from your deck to your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards.
nyctodarkmatter
While this seems like a balanced card at first glance, there are MANY cards that can combo off of this when they are banished, creating some issues with balance. However, it is only one card drawn, rather than two. I think the real issue is being able to search for ANY card, including Spells, which, in the current game, are difficult to call to your hand. Again, though, you have to have already used one copy of said spell, which makes me question its usefulness. This card is late-game draw power, and I'm honestly not quite sure how good this could be. Honestly, this is one of those cards that I'd have to play the game with, realize it's broken and see combos done with it, and THEN ban it. But I would enjoy this card tbh. Good idea, definitely more balanced than some of the other fan-made Pots.
Sleepy
I'm actually surprisingly mostly ok with this....It can search anything and everything, but if anything it supports unsearchable cards you want to run multiples of, and you needA ) the exact copy to banish so you won't be using this to speed up a setup but rather to recover a lost setup.B ) To not be willing to recycle your engine because you are banishing a copy and therefore there's only so many times you can grab the same card. If I were to point out anything, I would prefer it if this card could only activate once per turn. You could also probably get away by having the opponent choose the card (out of the two) that you'll grab a copy of without killing this card completely.... It'd be reduced to a casual card or to a few decks whose play style accommodates best with this card. Besides, how many decks don't have more than one card at 3 in their deck that they'd benefit or at least break even on searching out? The effect would look like this:Banish 2 cards from your GY; Your opponent chooses 1 of them, and you add 1 card from your Deck to your hand with the same name as the choice. You can only use the effect of "Pot of Resurgence" once per turn.
0riginator
I'd say it's pretty balanced, a lot more balanced than some of the fan-made 'Pot' card I've seen in fact. As others have mentioned already, it can search anything but those cards do need to be in the Graveyard already which kind of balances it out. Additionally, 'Foolish Burial' and 'Foolish Burial with Belongings' really boost the playability of this card. However, there are some changes that Id like to see, and these are:A 'hard' OPT activation. This card might be broken if you could activate multiples copies of it in a turn. Besides, most of the new 'Pot' cards have the same restriction as well.Banish the targeted cards face-down. This prevents the activation of certain effects that can activate when the cards are banished (at least I think so, correct me if I'm wrong). Eshai
I feel this card could be a ROTA of a Type with no ROTA, but that would be too underpowered and that honestly confuses me. I would restrict it to monsters and add a OPT clause to it to make it a bit more balanced, as if it searched Spells and Traps it might be too good for exodia.
