Thomas★Zero
Cyberse Visor Equip Spell Card The equipped Monster is treated as a Cyberse Monster and gains 500 ATK and DEF. If the Monster equipped with this cards original type is Cyberse, it gains the following effect. This card can attack your opponent directly, if this card attacks using this effect: battle damage dealt to your opponent is halved. So as Cyberse Support Visor can turn Non Cyberse monsters into Cyberse to support with cyberse links and then if equipped to a original type cyberse it gets a added boost of being able to attack directly while the damaged is halved. This card can be used for both Non Cyberse and Cyberse decks in order to support with the new Link Monster mechanic since we have a few monsters that require cyberse monsters as material. Darj
The card can be better, IMO. The effect on original Cyberses is rather weak. I mean, it's fine on cards like Masked HERO Anki because Anki has another effect as an option, plus by residing in the Extra Deck it acts as more of a tool you can grab from the toolbox for finishing games; but this effect as an Equip? it's not so good. And for Cyberse-conversion purposes, you may as well run an actual Cyberse monster instead with a built-in Special Summon effect or whatever; IIRC there are a couple of them available and I really doubt you will ever need more Cyberses in the maindeck in order to justify the use of this card. Not to mention that in a way it is a -1 since it doesn't generate, remove, negate, etc. any card, and you lose it after using the Cyberse-converted monster as material.A card like this really needs to at least float, or generate a plus in some way in order to compensate said pseudo -1. For example, if you were to give it a Level4 or lower Cyberse-searching effect like Saqlifice with a hard OPT clause, then it will be really solid, as it would encourage you to use the equipped monster as material, triggering the float. Thomas★Zero
Made a small change to the ATK/DEF boost making it 500 plus to note that the effect with the original type Cyberse also applies that ATK/DEF gain the Direct damage will be a bit bigger taking that into account as for example equipping it to a decode talker with no monsters linked to it would make it a 2800 ATK beatstick that can deal 1400 worth of damage directly.
