Token Bag Keeper

LIGHT Level 4 [beast / Effect] 1800 / 1000

When Normal Summoned: Add 1 "Token" Spell or Trap Card from your Deck or GY to your hand. While you control a Token, you can select the targets for your opponent's attacks. Also, if a monster(s) you control would be targeted by a card/effect, you can select the same number of targets among monsters you control for that effect.

The idea is to search and recycle:

Token Sundae

Token Stampede

Token Festival

Token Thanksgiving

I don't think there's any others, but there should be xD

It also makes it so that the existence of any Tokens on your field will divert blows to the direction you want. It still will damage you ultimately, but less so because you have control over where those things go.

EDIT:

To mention more specific things: Now you can use Token Sundae as a generic removal card because you can get rid of the free Gofu Tokens and pop 2 cards. Or you can use 1 of the Hippo Carnival cards, which don't restrict you the same way Scapegoats do. You will destroy 3 or 4 cards and recover your Extra Deck access, especially Super Hippo Carnival will let you with a random fodder monster. Or Token Stampede will let you rely on the Magic Planter engine a little bit.

IMO you can get away with making it search on Special Summon; it's not like "Token" Spell/Traps are too terribly strong. I'm a bit confused on the last effect, does it means you get to choose, or rather redirect, the targets for that activated effect? or do you choose extra targets? IDK.

It means you redirect the targets, but that the targets must still be on your side regardless of if the card doing the targeting is capable of choosing from both sides of the field.

I see. Then it's better to find a more accurate wording for it, because it is not clear, at least for me. You can take some tips from Cairngorgorn's effect. The attack re-directing may need a text fix too, since "select" is an outdated mechanic; AFAIK, reading the latest version of "Patrician of Darkness", it should be "choose" instead.
