Thomas★Zero Posted September 5, 2017 Report Share Posted September 5, 2017 So Roaring Sword as Warrior Support helps Warrior decks gain high ATK and inflict pericing damage where if you control 3 not only do you have warriors with 1500 ATK boost but also allows your warriors to inflict double piercing damage. Do you even realize how much generic warrior support there is? It's honestly incredible. Then take a type like any of Aqua, Thunder, Pyro, Rock, Reptile, or Fish to some extent, and what are you left with? Secondly, it's not particularly helpful in some matchups, while it's a game-winner in others. Dinosaurs would have no problem with it, but if you manage to make Number 86 or another warrior with protection, then your opponent won't be able to keep up. Also, if they ever set a monster (perhaps they bricked), then 3 of these plus a method to summon Excalibur means game. Even so, it's a cloggy card. Any warrior without protection will benefit greatly from one or two of these on the first turn it is summoned, then will quickly be spun back into the deck or be helpless when this card is hit by Twin Twisters. Essentially, this card managed to be both overpowered and useless at the same time, which in the long run may be befitting of a Warrior deck.
