Tbh I could see something like this if it would draw you cards at the end of your opponents turn, so you would have to wait a turn and your opponent could do something about it.

 

There would also have to be some restriction to rather Special Summoning or Battle Phase, but other than that it would probably be used in Decks that utilize not having a hand or end up having nothing after turn 1.

I would put an OPT clause and/or other restrictions but not here since it's the Joke and Overpowered Cards forum.

Even with restrictions, I think it would be difficult to avoid either outclassing Cards of Demise, or ending with a weaker version of it. You would have to find that thin line to make this card just as good as Cards of Demise, and more of an alternative option.

On the serious matter "at the start of your Main Phase 1" could be 1 of the restrictions, that way you wont be able to empty your hand then draw a bunch of cards
