Frightfur Nightmare Pegasus

lv 8 DARK

Fiend/Fusion/Effect

1 "Edge Imp" Monsters + 1 "Frightfur" Monster

Must be Fusion Summoned. This card can attack all of your opponents Monsters once. If this card battles a defence position Monster, inflict piercing battle damage. If this card is attacked, you can switch this card to defence position, if you do: this card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle this turn, then, at the end of the Battle Phase, destroy all Monsters your opponent controls that attacked this card during the turn you used this effect.

ATK/2800 DEF/2400

So Nightmare Pegasus acts as a offensive based boss monster for Frightfur being able to attack all of your opponents Monsters as well as inflicting piercing damage but on top of that it can switch itself from attack to defence to prevent itself from being destroyed by battle and destroys monsters that attacked it that turn while destroyed your opponents monsters that tried to beat this card and failed to do so.

In all with Frightfur/Fluffals this card can be easily summoned off 2 Edge Imp with a Edge Imp Frightfuloid and can add its offensive and defensive strengths to the theme.

It's absolutely awful.

You'll never want to do this. It's too costly for next to no payoff. You're not a deck that has problem with multi-attacking or boardclear, you're fluffal. That's your bread and butter. You shouldn't be making a Frightfur that cares about being attacked, because the deck realistically wants to make a T1 softlock board and T2 win the game.

This adds absolutely nothing to the deck. Piercing isn't even close to a good enough reason to make something that costs /2/ of your Imps and a Fusion.

It's still terrible.

You have to Fusion Summon twice to make this... and you get rewarded with a mediocre effect that the deck is already more than capable of. Don't say Frightfuloid, because then you're making deck concessions to run a bad card.

I said it was too expensive for a mediocre effect, and that still remains, because you've made something realistically harder to summon than Frightfur Sabre-Tooth for far less reward.

If you want to push Frightfuloid, this isn't the way to do it.
