If this card is used as a Link Material to Link Summon a "Code Talker" Monster, you can Special Summon this card to a zone the summoned Monster points to. You can only activate this effect of "Code Linker" once per turn.

So Code Synchron is ideally a Link Ladder Monster where it can easily allow you to make a Decode Talker if you manage to get 2 Effect Monsters on the field as you can make this with 1 Effect Monster, then make Code Talker with this and the other effect monster allowing you to summon this back to the field and then use this and Code Talker to make Decode Talker. I balanced Code Synchrons effect to a hard OPT so that you can't loop its effect into laddering up to Link 4 or higher Monsters too easily.

Why name the card "Code Synchron"? Isn't the "Synchron" archetype solely dedicated to Synchro Monsters, hence the name? Just think it's weird to give it that archetype name although it doesn't fit into the theme of the archetype at all. Otherwise, I like the card and the idea, definitely seems legit and like something Konami would make since the Code Talkers are the protag's boss monsters and everything.

Could I suggest making the link marker point either N, E, or W? D implies it's in the EDZ and is using that marker to accomplish a card effect; in this card's case, it's doing nothing but it's basic function, not to mention this card's purpose is just to be link fodder anyway. However, if you made it N/E/W, it could open up co-link effects too, making this card more reliable than just it's intended purpose. Just a thought.

Why name the card "Code Synchron"?

More so because Code Talker is already used for the Link 2 and this basically just sync's up with the Code Talkers for going into Decode Talker (like how you have Junk Synchron to Junk Warrior) through Laddering Link Summon. Though a side or up Link Marker might be an idea that I will edit it with.

But again I ask, why name it Synchron? 90% of Synchrons are Tuners, and every single one in one way or another deals with Synchro Summons. I mean you're entitled to naming it whatever you desire, it does sound cool at the very least, just doesn't make sense to me. You say it "syncs up" but it actually "links up", hence the distinction (though "Code Lincron" doesn't sound as nice). I don't want to argue with you to change something on a fake card that has pretty much nothing to do with it's actual mechanics, just want to make sure you understand why it's kinda confusing.
