Ronald Lop
Counter Trap CardWhen your opponent summons a monster: negate the summon, and if you do, destroy it. After that, Special Summon 1 "Barox" from your Extra Deck to your opponent's side of the field.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
This is literally a costless version of Warning/Strike that, for whatever reason, summons a random DARK Fusion monster to the opponent's field. (I say random in the sense of the monster itself being out of the blue, and yes, I know about its role with PaniK). Yeah, this summoning Barox to the opponent's field does not excuse the lack of a cost for this, and already outclassing Strike (which is very good in its own right). Darj
Not quite, Sakura. Unlike Strike or Warning, this cannot stop monster effects, nor effects that would Special Summon a monster. In that sense, this is more of a generic X-Saber Hole, and even then, it requires 1 Extra Deck slot, which nowadays can be a noticeable drawback since Extra Deck space can be so precious sometimes, plus it gives the opponent a monster to play with, something much easier to do in this Link era. And you will need more Barox in the ED if you want to play multiples of this card. Moreover, I assume you must be able to Summon Barox in the opponent's side in order to activate this card, and as an Extra Deck monster, it must go to either the opponent's Extra Monster Zone, or a linked Main Monster Zone, so if the opponent' doesn't have either available, you can't use this card. I dare to say this is actually a fair card because of the above, and I find it as a clever way of making use of such forgettable monster.
