Phantom Darkness Yubel

DARK

Link: UL, U, UR

Fiend/Link/Effect

3 DARK Effect Monsters

Must be Link Summoned. This card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. All Monsters your opponent controls must attack this card if possible. All battle damage you would take involving this card is dealt to your opponent and if it was from a Monster in a zone this card points to, double that damage. If this card is destroyed by an opponents card effect, Special Summon 1 Level 10 or higher "Yuble" Monster from your Deck or GY ignoring its summoning condition.

ATK/0 LINK-3

So this Link version of Yuble is quite powerful as it has all of the previous Yubles effects and more as it doesn't need a Monster tribute each turn and also if you would be dealt damage by a Monster in a zone this points to, it doubles that damage, then finally it can summon Ultimate Nightmare if destroyed by an opponents card effect.

I balanced this card by making it so it has to be Link Summoned by 3 DARK Effect Monsters and you can only summon Yubels with Levels so you can't recycle summon this card from your GY.

In Decks like Blackwings you can effectively summon this out with a mass summoning of DARK Monsters.

1. Summon Gofu

2. Turn the 2 Tokens into Linkuribohs

3. Summon this

There, now it's not balanced anymore :v

To be fair, it's the fault of Gofu's goodness in this case, but 3 DARK Effect monsters shouldn't be difficult to get. Regardless, I don't think the card is that great. No markers to your side means that once you Summon in your EM Zone it will lock out your ED Summons unless you already have Links around with markers on your MM Zones. And the effect is potentially highly damaging, but it depends on what the opponent controls, plus with only battle protection it is not reliable for defending. The only highlight IMO is the float since it can drop, not Ultimate Nightmare, but Darkness Incarnate for the End Phase nukes and further floating into Ultimate as an insurance. And even then, it depends on being destroyed by an effect, and by your opponent's, giving plenty of options for the opponent to play around it.
