Tinkerer Posted January 10, 2018 Report Share Posted January 10, 2018 Monarch's EnvoySpellSend 1 monster with 2400 or more ATK and 1000 DEF from your Deck to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 monster with 800 ATK and 1000 DEF from your Deck whose Attribute is the same as the sent monster's. The Summoned monster's effects on the field are negated. During the End Phase of a turn you Tribute Summoned a monster: you can banish this card from your Graveyard; draw 1 card. You can only activate 1 "Monarch's Envoy" per turn. Kinda a bump to monarchs to help unbrick 'em a bit. Searchable card that helps put tribute fodder on the board and enables Monarch Re-Advent. Made it as generically applicable as possible though. Draw effect was a bit of an afterthought, but they could use the extra draw power with Pantheism gone. Not much to say overall, but I didn't really run through all the other monsters with Monarch+ stats, so I might be opening Pandora's Box with this one. Darj Posted January 10, 2018 Report Share Posted January 10, 2018 Coincidentally, a friend was explaining me the other day how a more practical way to get a Monarch in the GY would help them, and then I see this! It even encourages the use of the Vassals if you want a non LIGHT/DARK Monarch in the grave. Searchable by Tenacity, too. Cool ways to stay in the archetype. A good card, IMO. Other noteworthy monsters with 2400+ ATK and 1000 DEF that I can think of are the Vanities and Dark Armed Dragon, but those don't exactly benefit from being milled, so you should be safe.
