Thomas★Zero
Crest of Final Hope Quick-Play Spell Card Activate this card by revealing 1 Link 5 or higher Monster from your Extra Deck. Shuffle all cards you control and in your hand into your deck; all damage you take this turn is reduced to 0 this turn, then, draw 6 cards. During your next End-Phase after this card was activated you lose the duel unless you control the revealed card. You can only activate "Crest of Final Hope" once per duel. So this card acts as a double edged life saving card that reveals a high link monster from your Extra Deck to reduce all damage you take to 0 but returns your field to your deck and resets your hand to 6. In addition to this if you don't control the revealed card at the end of your next End Phase if this card was activated you lose unless you can summon the revealed card using your new hand. Once we have a official Link 5 in the game this can be a interesting tech that can first save you and provide you with a larger hand if you have little to no cards in hand. Also this card has a hard OPD clause on it so it can't be reused.
Darj
IDK, looks quite busted to me. Naturally you will play this when you are low on resources, and once you do, either you win, or, if you don't win even with the up to +5 this card can give you, then you had already lost anyway, making the drawback moot. Its more so the case where you need to have a Link 5 in your Extra Deck, its 0 damage part is more so to act as a counter against your opponents battle and effect damage reducing your LP to 0 while your field and hand is thrown into your deck and then with the cards you get in your hand you have to either win on that turn or make the revealed Link 5 Monster otherwise you lose the duel plus it also has the hard OPD clause so I would think its that's busted if its a case of win or lose with this card. Darj
The OPD hardly matters when you only want to play this card just once. The intended use may be to go for a Link5, but I would rather use the +4 to win a game that otherwise I would lose anyway. If that includes the Link5 that also will keep me safe from the drawback, then it's even better.Actually, this card would be dead at any time you control more than 4 cards, and that may spell doom if this dead card could very well have been a more useful card that leads you to win. In other words, it's only good when you are losing, but you should be playing cards that help you win, rather than "not lose". So there is some kind of duality going on there.
