Performapal Skylight Magician

lv 7 LIGHT

Scale: 1

Pendulum: Increase the ATK of all "Performapal", "Magician" and "Odd-Eyes" Monsters you control by 300 for each Continuous Spell Card and/or Cards in Pendulum Zones you control. (Quick Effect): you can destroy this card; set 1 "Magciain" Continuous Spell Card from your Deck or GY to your side of the field, then, immediately after, activate that card. You can only activate this effect of "Performapal Skylight Magician" once per turn.

Spellcaster/Pendulum/Effect

Increase this cards ATK by 300 for each Continuous Spell Card and/or Cards in Pendulum Zones you control. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1: you can target 1 Continuous Spell Card you control and 1 "Performapal", "Magician" or "Odd-Eyes" Monster you control excluding "Performapal Skylight Magician", destroy the targeted Continuous Spell Card, then, the targeted Monster can attack your opponent directly during the Battle Phase this turn. If this card would be destroyed by battle or by card effects, you can shuffle 1 Continuous Spell Card from your GY into your deck instead.

ATK/2500 DEF/2000

So Skylight acting as a Pendulum version of Sky Magician comes in with a decent set of Pendulum and Monster effects that should work with Pendulums.

First off this cards Pendulum effect gives your Performapal, Magician and Odd-Eyes Monsters ATK for each Continuous/Pendulum Card you control and can destroy itself to get your Magicians Left or Right Hand immediately onto the field ready to counter an opponents Spell or Trap Card.

Next this card like with its Pendulum Effect can also gain ATK in the same manner through its Monster effect, then it can also destroy one of your Continuous Spells to grant another Monster you control the ability to attack directly. Finally this can protect itself by shuffling continuous spells into the deck as a means of recycling them ready to be used again when added back to the hand.

Finally in Pendulums this has a nice 1 scale and power boosting effects and its ability to set up negation effects and direct attacks will work nicely in Performapal Magician Odd-Eyes Decks.

The term "Quick Effect" is reserved for monsters. Spell/Traps still use "During either player's turn" clauses.

Anyway, the Pendulum Effect seems potent to me but IDK if Pendulum Magicians would actually bother with this. I mean, while they are still at top tier levels last time I checked, adding this would add to their stun power and sfurtehr strengthen them, but also the cards could compromise their consistency when AFAIK they really prioritize the Summon of Electrumite to kickstart their plays. In other words, I can't tell if this would be a game-breaking addition, or an overkill.
