Immediately after this chain resolves, apply the appropriate effects, depending on the number of times the a Deck(s) have been shuffled in this chain:2+: Your opponent discards 1 random card.3+: Target 1 card on the field; destroy it.4+: Target 1 monster from your GY; Special Summon it. - - - - - - Inspired by the "Dealer's Choice" card that just got revealed... in a way.Basically every time there's a search by any player, this can add to it.Most decks have a ton of ways to search something each turn, but not necessarily within the same chain.The reward is huge though, 1 destruciton, 1 discard, 1 revive, and 4 draws as max. I want opinions on this idea.I also have a potential addition to its effect, where one of those bonus effects gets nullified for each chain link that is higher than this card in the chain, giving an incentive to keep on adding effects to counter it in a more or less natural way. Maybe even JUST for each shuffle within higher chain links instead of for any chain links in general...Though I don't really know how to word that if I were to end up applying the clause. Assuming no card has been in chained in response, this card resolves, and guess what? No Decks have been shuffled in this chain so far, so no searches/epic combos for me :( I think what you meant was: Each time a Deck(s) is shuffled in this chain, draw 1 card and apply 1 of the following effects, depending on the number of times the a Deck(s) have been shuffled in this chain:2: Your opponent discards 1 random card.3: Target 1 card on the field; destroy it.4: Target 1 monster from your GY; Special Summon it. Anyway, I don't think this card really does much at the moment. There's not that much quick effect searching without HOPT. I will say though that I really like the concept, as someone who likes combos, and would really love to see a metagame where this is playable. Thinking about it, everything this card is chained in response to (as in, all lower number links in the chain) will not resolve before this card does so I'm liking the second option you wrote. Except I'd also move the drawing effect post chain resolution along with all other effects. xD Yeah it's a little hard to resolve right now. redman30 Posted April 13, 2018 Report Share Posted April 13, 2018 maybe it would work better if it was a handtrap kind of maxx C then it wouldn't be Each time a Deck(s) is shuffled in this chain but rather : "each time (a / your opponent's deck) is shuffled this turn" or something like that also you'd have to set a limit of draw you can do and decide when to resolve the additionnal effects Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
