Elemental HERO Frost Edge

While you control no Monsters or only "HERO" Monsters: you can Special Summon this card from your hand to your side of the field and if you do, reduce this cards ATK and DEF by 500. You can only Special Summon "Elemental HERO Frost Edge" this way once per turn. If this card is used as a Fusion Material for a Fusion Summon of a "HERO" Fusion Monster, the summoned Fusion Monster gains the following effect.

* If this card attacks a Defence Position Monster, inflict piercing battle damage. During your Main Phase except the turn this was sent to the GY, you can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Miracle Fusion" from your Deck or GY to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Elemental HERO Frost Edge" once per turn.

ATK/1800 DEF/1500

 

So Frost Edge in HERO's acts similar to bubbleman but instead summons itself if you control no monsters or only HERO Monsters but if Special Summoned this way it lose's ATK and DEF. In addition if used as a Fusion Material it can give the summoned Fusion Monster piercing. Finally this card can banish itself in order to give you a Miracle Fusion to extend on your Fusion plays.

 

In all this card would be helpful in HERO's for setting up Links and Xyz's, provide a offensive boost to your HERO Fusions and can search you your Miracle Fusions while being on a 1800 body if Normal Summoned or Special Summoned outside of its own effect.

Searching for Miracle Fusion, huh. Now that's a nasty move xD

I like the card. I guess my bias in favor of HEROes shows a bit, but they did lose Fusion summoning power with MR4 and this would be a good way to promote Fusion Summons in addition to Mask Change and Link laddering strategies.

I also like that it's another Level4 WATER that doesn't spend your Normal Summon, if only for Toadally Bahamut plays along Bubbleman, as long as you have enough marked MM Zones for it, of course.
