The following RP begins at the end of Season 1 of the One Punch Man anime. I am using information from the OPM wiki that may be spoilers for Season 2. If you are really concerned about this, please let me know.

Following the invasion of the Dark Matter Thieves and the subsequent destruction of A-City and the Hero Association Headquarters, the surrounding cities were flooded with citizens escaping the loss of their homes. Already under strain by string of attacks at the hand of many groups of Mysterious Beings, the cities were unable to accommodate the refugees.

As a result, all cities in the region experienced massive crime waves as refugees struggled to survive and criminals moved to take advantage of the situation. To make matters worse, with the destruction of their headquarters, the Hero Association was rendered blind and unable to coordinate heroes to stem the rising tide of crime. Without the coordination of HQ, the populace was left to fend for themselves, with most heroes only managing to respond to crime after the damage was done and the perpetrators already in hiding.

In an effort to protect their communities, citizens organized grassroots campaigns to co-ordinate their cities heroes. Neighbourhood watches became a constant sight in all cities, reporting criminal activities and Mysterious Beings wherever they appeared. In addition to neighbourhood watches, new heroes arose to meet the new demand. Neighbourhood watches “inducted” these new heroes without the approval of the Hero Association, giving them rankings based on their abilities.

The Hero Association was initially disavowed these new heroes. The Hero Association maintained a fine balance between the heroes, keeping the number of member heroes static to reduce the pressure of competition between heroes and keeping them fighting crime rather than each other. However, once news spread of the Hero Association's stance on the fledgling heroes, the public outcry was enormous. Both the mainstream media and social media railed against the Association, calling their efficacy into question and even suggesting their disbandment.

Caving to public pressure, the Hero Association provisionally expanded the size of the A, B, and C classes and coordinated with the city authorities to set up temporary testing areas for all the informal heroes wishing to make themselves official as well as temporary Association branches to co-ordinate the city's heroes. Not all hometown heroes registered with the Association. Some were simply unable to pass the testing process, others abstained, pointing out the clear neglect the Association shows to non S-class heroes as proof of an inherently flawed system.

During this time, the popularity around the new breakout hero Saitama, also known as Caped Baldy, slowly grew among both citizens and heroes. While not formally recognized by the Hero Association, many of the fans of Saitama believe that it was he, not the S-Class heroes, that defeated the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves and saved the region from total annihilation. An anonymous user and de facto leader of the fanbase, only known as bl0nd_b0rg, helped inspire a small but growing group of heroes who choose the hero’s path not for fame or fortune, but for the pursuit of justice, cultivation of physical and spiritual strength, and most importantly, for the joy of it.
You will be playing as a newly recruited hometown hero who recently joined the Hero Association. While you have your own reasons for joining the Association, you will also be inspired by Saitama’s simple philosophy to being a hero, leading you to become a hero for fun or for justice and to band together with other like-minded heroes.

Your character can be of any class that is not S-class, as S-class characters are the ones that the show tends to focus on and I believe that including new S-class heroes in the story would interfere too much with canon. I will be strongly preferring characters of B or C-class, as I believe they would make for a more interesting story, as the show already showcases many A-class heroes.

This RP will be divided into short arcs revolving around a monster or a villain of the week. The characters will be summoned to fight an appropriate threat. When the threat is resolved, there will be some time in between for characters to interact and to deal with the rewards (or consequences) of their actions while dealing with their threat. If I see that the story could use a breather, or if the players wish to have more time to have character interactions, I will add slice of life segments.

Member heroes of the Hero Associations are ranked initially based on their abilities as rated by a testing process and later by a combination of their popularity and their accomplishments. Heroes who defeat powerful threats rise through the ranks faster. Salaries, restrictions, responsibilities and mission assignments are all based on a heroes rank. Each rank has a set number of heroes that can be a part of the class. Those who become rank 1 of their class become eligible for promotion to the next class up. However, promotion through the ranks is rare since those holding rank 1 of their class tend to become gatekeepers, stopping anyone below them from climbing to the next rank.

S-class: Members of the S-class are among the strongest of all known heros, each one being as powerful as an entire military division. As such, S-class is the smallest of all classes, including only 17 heroes. The Hero Association did not increase the size of this class.

A-class: Members of the A-class are not as powerful as those in S-class, but are still among the most powerful heroes and are also among the most popular of all heroes. As a part of being ranked in A-class, heroes in this class must take part in a mentorship program for newly recruited heroes. The current holder of rank 1 of A-class is Sweet Mask, who has acted as a gatekeeper to S-class, keeping anyone he considers “unworthy” from ascending to S-class. Going against the advice of Sweet Mask, the Hero Association has provisionally increased the size of A-class from 38 to 43 members.

B-class: Members of B-class are not required to meet the weekly quotas of C-class heroes, giving them a lot more freedom in choosing their missions. The current holder of rank 1 of B-class is Fubuki, Blizzard of Hell, who is infamous for the “newbie crushing” activities that some heroes do to maintain their positions. The size of B-class was increased by the Association from 101 heroes to 150 heroes, having the largest increase of all classes.

C-class: Members of C-class are the weakest among the Association, but are often much stronger than the average person. Most heros are placed in this class when they first join, unless they score high enough during the testing process. Due to the number of powerful hometown heros, a great deal of new heroes have skipped this class and went straight to B-class. C-class heroes are required to perform weekly heroic acts to justify their membership to the Association. Those who do not make the quota are removed from the Hero Registry. The current holder of rank 1 in C-class is Mumen Rider, a hero well known for his unwavering pursuit of justice and community outreach. The size of C-class increased slightly, from 390 to 400. The turnover in C-class is high and heroes rise and fall quickly in the rankings.

Unregistered: Not an official rank. This used to denote active heroes who are not in the Hero Registry. Heroes who do not join the Hero Association are considered “weirdos” and are not given any credit or media attention for their heroic deeds. All hometown heroes were considered unregistered until the Association increased the size of non S-classes.
The Hero Association rates threats that they identify on a scale based on their threat to the people, the cities and the world. The RP will be focusing on Wolf or Tiger level threats.

Wolf: A threat rated Wolf is something that could possibly pose a threat to multiple people. Most threats that are identified are rated Wolf and escalated if later reports indicate a larger threat. The average Wolf threat requires 3 C-class heroes or 1 B-class hero to be defeated.

Tiger: A threat rated Tiger is something that endangers the lives of a great number of people. The average Tiger threat requires 5 B-class heroes or 1 A-class hero to be defeated.

Demon: A threat rated Demon is something that threatens an entire city and its infrastructure. An average Demon threat requires 10 A-class heroes or 1 S-class hero to be defeated.

Dragon: A threat rated Dragon is something endangers multiple cities. The invasion of the Dark Matter Thieves was classed as a Dragon level threat.

God: A God rated threat is something that endangers the survival of all humanity. No God level threats have ever been identified.

The stats and how I will interpret them will be below. This section is subject to change; I may end up discarding this completely if it becomes too tedious or if players are too concerned about spoilers.
LoHCtAP.png

"The wicked will kneel before Jack, The Raging Storm!"

Character Name: Jack
Age: 22
Sex: Male
br2UDtX.png

Jack stands at a rather tall 6'2" with his usual cobalt attire. Underneath his dark, azure cloak is a rather unassuming business attire, although it is rather unprofessionally put on with the coat unbuttoned and the shirt not tucked in. To match his rather debonair appearance is a pair of black dress shoes shined as to reflect his blue and black lightning. Contrasting his blue color scheme is rather striking amber eyes that glow when he is using his powers.
The thing Jack probably loves the most in this world is himself. He is, after all, The Raging Storm as he called himself. This confidence, of course, leads to his clamoring for media attention. He loves being in the center of the spot light, and by extension makes him very much a show off. As one would imagine, he is rather outgoing due to this, always open to talk about himself. He is also a decent listener - after all, one has to be in order to hear the good they have to say about him.

While he bears a "better than you" personality which gets him in trouble constantly, he still cares for what he considers his underlings. In fact, he holds a strong position that it is the strong's obligation to protect the weak; any that use their strength to push around the weak are the definition of evil. While a good thing for those who truly are weaker than him, this does make him come off as  condescending, especially when he's talking down to his fellow heroes who might be stronger than he is.

Jack is a force of will, holding strong to his ideals and actions. He is quick on his feet, being able to quickly adapt any plan he makes on the fly, but he is also very stubborn. Once he has a goal in mind, there isn't much that can stop him from achieving it, for better or worse. Despite his stubbornness, however, he liked to play it cool, both for the sake of his power and for his public image.
Jack's power is to be able to conduct and manipulate his own lightning and thunder - a sort of electrokinesis. This ranges from your standard shooting lightning bolts at the bad guy to being able to cause the booming sound of thunder with the snap of his fingers to super charging his fists for a devastating blow. While he is able to create lighting, and he is able to bend it, the lightning itself, much like real lighting, is rather unpredictable and fast. His lightning is very much like a metaphorical bull - powerful, but unwieldy. As a byproduct of his power, he is unharmed by electricity and he himself makes for a better conductor than most people.

The black and cyan lightning he creates is an extension of his emotion - when keeping his cool his lighting is more direct and easier (although not easy) to control and manipulate. When he had less control over his feelings, he has less control in both where his lightning strikes and how powerful it is, causing wild and chaotic devastation to many around him. The color of his lighting reflects this - the more cyan and bright the lighting is, the more controlled it is. The darker, the more wild. It is, however, always a combination of the two colors.
Jack was born into a rich family, his powers forming rather early in his childhood. Due to this, and him being considered a prodigy by everyone around him, he became very spoiled. Despite this, however, he never became a bully - much to the contrary, he defended many school yard kids from other bullies. At first it was because of all the positive attention doing this gave him, but it eventually grew into a sense of duty to protect those that can't protect the weak. During young adulthood, he heard all of the legends behind Saitama and his power, and decided that he too would become a powerful hero just like him, forever protecting the weak from evil.
UAfnQea.png
"How did you get your name, anyway?"
I made it up. I liked the way "Krohka" sounded, so I decided that should be my name.
"...that sounds about right for you."

Character Name: Nanami & Krohka

Age: 18

Sex: Female

Class: B
b8GE6Cz.png
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 124 pounds

The most notable feature about Nanami - virtually her calling card - is a red raincoat. Reaching as far down as her ankles, and accompanied by a matching pair of rubber boots, it's an ensemble that can be spotted on Nanami even in perfect weather. The reason is simple. Beneath that raincoat is a symbiotic suit - primarily orange, with gray hands/feet - that is extremely allergic to water. This suit covers Nanami's entire body from the shoulders down, but is known to reach up to also cover her head and neck in some situations. In a similar color to her raincoat, Nanami has bright red eyes, but these are contrasted by a light blue head of rather short hair
Nanami's never been much of a people person. This isn't to say she's incapable of holding a conversation or anything; simply that she's at her best outside of social situations. Easily flustered and typically having trouble putting her thoughts into words, a conversation with Nanami will likely have lots of awkward pauses or starting sentences over because she said something wrong. Socially awkward though she may be, however, Nanami is firm in her belief that people should help other people whenever the chance comes up. This sense of justice is her driving force as a hero, though being something of a timid girl that doesn't like the spotlight, Nanami tends to shy away from higher-profile work, or otherwise leave the scene before the media can show up to talk to her. In her brief time as a hero - official or otherwise - Nanami has learned that nothing makes her quite as nervous as interviews, so she makes an effort to avoid them as best she can.

Of course, Nanami owes her success to her symbiotic partner, Krohka, and she knows it. In a rather stark contrast to the hero herself, Krohka is impulsive, reckless, and highly inquisitive. It likes to ask questions, which only Nanami can hear, and doesn't quite understand the concepts of morality or law. It does, however, recognize the concept of death, and is extremely stubborn - bordering on obsessive - about its own protection. In exchange for Nanami protecting Krohka, Krohka is happy to help Nanami do hero work, even if they don't always agree on how to solve a problem.
Krohka: A symbiotic life-form attached to Nanami. Krohka takes on the appearance of an orange bodysuit over Nanami's body, which fades to an ashy gray as it approaches the hands and feet. Nanami herself has no powers to speak of, but Krohka provides her with a few abilities, and has a one-way telepathic link that allows it to communicate with her. However, water is highly toxic to Krohka's biology, and will cause Nananmi's suit to dissolve at the point of contact. By default, Krohka only covers Nanami's body from the shoulders down, but can extend itself to her head and fully engulf her body as needed. In addition to Krohka's - and thus, Nanami's - crippling weakness to water, Nanami has to eat enough for both herself and Krohka, or else one of them will be weakened from lack of nutrition.

Fire Creation: The most notable of Krohka's abilities is the power to create - but not control - fire. This is most commonly used in combat to create jets of flame from Nanami's hands, but can also be used to create smaller fires or even explosions. As an added bonus, the Krohka suit is extraordinarily heat-resistant, and can let Nanami walk directly through fire without any sign of discomfort.

Strength/Durability: Krohka is extraordinarily sturdy, acting as a suit of armor to protect Nanami, while also giving her just enough regenerative properties to ignore the human body's safety limiters on strength. This effectively makes Nanami far stronger and sturdier than she looks, but only just barely passing the threshold of what could be called superhuman.

Camouflage: The ability to blend into one's surroundings. This allows Krohka and Nanami to effectively become invisible, but this power can't extend to any other clothes Nanami is wearing. This effectively forces her to ditch her protective raincoat, and leave Krohka fully exposed to potential water hazards. Additionally, channeling this ability for more than a couple of seconds in the middle of a fight can be rather difficult.
Once upon a time, Nanami was just a regular girl who had no desire to be a hero. One day, while passing by a laboratory that had burned down, she happened upon Krohka, an experimental life-form that could bond to a host and grant them power. It wasn't until the destruction of the Hero Association's HQ that Nanami began to use this power, inspired by heroic deeds by the likes of Saitama. When the Association finally accepted these hometown heroes into their ranks, Nanami hurriedly signed up to try out.

Personal Information

x393wz.jpg

Name: Alexander "Alex" Stark
Age: 24
Sex: Male

x393wz.jpg
ciiAP3T.jpg

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 167 lbs

Depicted above is the general appearance and the general outfit of Alexander/Aegis. While the goggles don't exactly show it, Alexander's eyes are a deep emerald green behind them. He also has a head of brown hair, which he tends to keep untended and messy (though he calls it a style that other's will follow). While it seems like general normal everyday clothing, beneath the surface, the outfit is actually made with a breathable Kevlar in order to protect him during his general heroics.

x393wz.jpg
Quick-witted and just a straight up intelligent young man, Alexander puts 100% thought into whatever he's focused on, be it a new gadget project or his heroic endeavors. Though while being intelligent, he actually is a caring and friendly individual to anyone he comes in contact with and they can immediately tell from one look and encounter. He makes time for anyone who needs his help: old, young, upper class, middle class, whatever the backgrounds, he'll do what he can to help them. Alexander is a calm and collected individual, not too much of a hot-headed individual in anything, always wanting to at least assess the situation before moving or acting.

The quirks of Alexander are plenty, though there are a few that are noticeable in an instant.

 • He prefers to be called "Alex" rather than the long version of his name.
 • He has an odd habit of chewing on his tongue (or any gum or candy) when he's working on gadget or when he's generally thinking.

x393wz.jpg
Alexander was always the smartest kid around his friends, always tinkering and aspiring to be a hero. Creating gadgets and the like whenever he could, he kept doing his best to make strives towards his goal of being a hero even though he had no powers. It was at this moment he found two specific instances of a hero that he could try and aspire to be like: Metal Knight and Demon Cyborg, even though he heard others wanting to be like this Saitama/Caped Baldy person, he felt to aspire to be similar to someone of his style. As "Aegis", he finally was able to help those around him and when the Association finally started began to accept these heroes into their ranks: Alexander immediately signed up.

Combat Information

x393wz.jpg

Alias: Aegis

Class: Hero Class B

x393wz.jpg
Alexander's powers are unique...in the realm that he has absolutely none. Well, physical abilities like others. In truth, while he can't control the elements and fly, Alexander is actually quite intelligent. The equipment he has at his disposal were created by him and the effectiveness of each of his gadgets work flawlessly. Unfortunately, he's yet to reach the intellectual level of the Metal Knight, but he's striving to achieve that level and higher. Physically, his overall abilities in endurance and strength are around normal to at least slightly enhanced, but it's nothing too out of the ordinary.

His fighting style is close-combat in order to make use of Pridwen and his gauntlets, while also being ranged as well with the design to Pridwen being able to be launched towards targets as well as the laser it holds.

x393wz.jpg
Pridwen

Named after King Arthur's shield, Pridwen is Alexander's pride and joy and main weapon. Mounted on his left arm gauntlet, he's able to fire it off and allow it to strike enemies from far away. How does it return to him? He's fitted Pridwen with a special chip with a encoded frequency that is connected to his gauntlets, allowing it to be recalled and mounted back to either gauntlet. The small green gem area on Pridwen, Alexander went with giving his weapon a bit of a surprise...in the form of a laser/beam blast, after a friend made the suggestion and kept pestering him to make it a feature. The shield itself is hard to break, unless a literal truck-esque force is barreling down towards it.

Gauntlets

A pair of gauntlets that allows Alexander to protect his arms, even when Pridwen isn't on them. Both are fitted with powerful tasers that can deliver quite the electrical surge in the manner of strikes.

Goggles

A pair of goggles that Alexander programmed and worked with to allow him to analyze things around him being from a crime scene to possibly an opponent's weakness, but only if there has been ample time to analyze the opponent.

Outfit

While his general outfit seems like normal clothing attire, Alexander has made sure his clothes are made with a breathable Kevlar and made it able to resist any matter of brute force or projectile strikes.

...but these are only the beginnings! Alexander is constantly making new gadgets to assist him in his duties as a hero, so more will come!

Miscellaneous Information

x393wz.jpg

Alexander's Theme (Alternative) | Battle Theme

 • Alexander's name means the following: Alexander - the Anglicized form of the Latin "Alexandrus", which is means "defender of mankind", Stark - the Medieval English that comes from the Old English "stearc" meaning "firm and unyielding".
 • Alexander's alias/hero name, Aegis, refers to the Greek mythological object known by the same name. It was Zeus' shield that was loaned to his daughter Athena, as well as also being used by Perseus.
 • Alexander's shield usage in combat was based off of Captain America from Marvel.
 • While the shield usage in combat and the like is based off Captain America, Alexander in general is slightly based off of both Iron Man and Batman in regards to their ingenuity in using gadgets in combat.
 • In the description of Pridwen, it was mentioned that Alexander's friend pestered him about adding a laser blast/gun feature to the shield. This was actually me making a jab at Yui who was suggesting me to do exactly that during the creation of the character.
sBlLGY4.jpg?1

"Now, time to count up your sins."

Character Name: Yukio Mishima
Age: 24
Sex: F
ZC5J83A.png

Yukio is a fair-skinned brunette woman in her early 20s, standing at a modest 166 Centimeters tall. Her most striking feature is her right eye, which is covered in a black eyepatch that lends well to her usual hero outfit which consists of a black coat, shorts, and a pair of pantyhose. Her eyepatch is there to cover up her scarred right eye, which lost its sight following a botched shootout. Though the loose clothing hides it, Yukio is rather shapely. Overall, she themed her hero appearance to be reminiscent of private detectives, what with her coat and all.
A one-note, no nonsense lady with a headstrong determination, Yukio found herself constantly butting heads with her colleagues, whether it be throughout her school days, at the police academy, or during her time as an officer. Once Yukio set her mind on something, she refuses to listen to other people's input, believing her methods to be perfect, and that everyone should listen to her instead. While her stubbornness does have some merit, what with her wit and such, it does make her rather insufferable to be around.

Serious and aloof, Yukio is not one to make jokes or laugh things off, instead simply shrugging such things off and focusing on what she deems to be 'important' at a given moment, usually accomplishing a task. However, she is capable of acting differently, should the situation call for it. Being well-versed in the human psyche, it is almost impossible to determine what Yukio is thinking about unless she's by herself. Her actions and motives can seem like a mystery even to her allies, sometimes acting clueless, sometimes acting approachable and talkative, whatever would benefit her the most, regardless of how she felt about the situation. However, if she felt there was nothing to gain by acting differently, she drops the pretenses and becomes the no-nonsense girl she truly is.

Yukio possesses a fittingly simple creed for her 'justice'; "Those who break the law are sinners who aught to be punished appropriately." Despite this, she chose to join the police force instead of becoming a hero, detesting the fame that being a hero brings, instead opting to exact justice on the down-low. She has very low tolerance to criminals and villains, yet she herself is not exactly a 'nice' person. Unlike most heroes, she mostly keeps to herself, and focuses on fighting villains rather than saving civilians, acting in the vein of a vigilante more than a protector of the people.
Force Nullification - Yukio's power manifests itself as a rather unique form of ESP. While she can technically be classified as an Esper, like Fubuki and Tatsumaki, her power differs in that in relies on direct contact and cannot be controlled consciously. As the name implies, anything Yukio's palm touches will have a directly proportional amount of force applied to it, cancelling it out with no drawback to Yukio herself. Similar to how Espers uses telekinetic force and applies it to objects, Yukio's palms will always exert an identical amount of force to what's being applied to her.

Simply put, she can stop near enough any object danger-free, provided she catches it with her palms. She could effortlessly block punches thrown by people much stronger than her, catch falling objects no matter how heavy, and so on. The upper limits of her powers is not known to Yukio herself, but she has used this power to stop a speeding car by simply placing her palm on its bumper, completely wrecking it in the process. To stop herself from accidentally using her powers, Yukio wears a pair of black gloves, meaning she has to take them off first before entering combat.

Hand to hand combat knowledge - Being a former police officer, Yukio has been trained in basic close-quarter combat techniques. Since applying to become a hero, she continued her training in secret, usually sparring with her colleagues from the police force. While her skills are nothing remarkable, and she is nowhere in the league of fighter-class heroes, she's not a complete slouch, and can hold her own in a brawl to some extent. Since her powers require direct usage of her palms, her fighting style mostly focuses on parries and hip throws, reminiscent of Aikido and Judo.

Eidetic Memory - Despite her unique power, Yukio's most valuable asset is, and has always been, her brilliant mind. Possessing photographic knowledge and ample knowledge of various topics, ranging from the human psyche to various miscellaneous tidbits, Yukio makes a fearsome strategist. Formulating plans on the fly, creating accurate deductions about her enemy's movements, as well as remembering certain ticks or weaknesses of an individual or a structure, all of those come as natural to Yukio. When engaging enemies, she prefers to lead them towards terrain she's familiar with, or to use surprise attacks that exploit their weakness. For this reason, she usually hangs back and observes her opponent for the first few moments of a fight.

However, this gift has backfired on her before. In the heat of a battle, she would often freeze up while considering all her possible options, making her option to attacks, or just become a liability to her allies who are relying on her instructions.

Yukio doesn't carry any equipment, safe for her cellphone.
A bright girl with excellent memory and a strong sense of righteousness, Yuiko quickly found herself on the fast track to becoming a police officer, following a recommendation from her middle school teacher. Soon after graduating from the academy and becoming a rookie, she happened to come across a seemingly powerless black-haired guy taking down a crab monster before the police was even alerted to it. Following her first direct encounter with a hero, she found herself and the other members of the police relying on heroes to resolve incidents and take down villains. Though she liked her desk job as a policewoman, she disliked the bureaucracy and lack of autonomy she has over her actions.

These feelings continued to boil until she witnessed Tatsumaki and the other S-Class heroes fight off the Dark Matter Thieves at A-City, realizing her powers and capabilities are wasted under the police force, she resigned and applied to become a hero. With her idol being her fellow Esper Tatsumaki, she quickly rose through the ranks, resolved to become an 'unknown hero' who defeats villains without needing recognition. A mysterious, 'cool' heroine who saves the day without as much as a thanks.

Of course, she doesn't know how the real Tatsumaki is like.
Character Name: Daigo Shirai
Age: 21
Sex: Male
9CX1A0H.jpg

Daigo Shirai stands at a rather short 5'8"', and weighs in at 165 pounds.  He has rather unkempt, long, red hair, and a boyish face that definitely doesn't match his age, even if it is scarred ever so slightly.  With his slender body comes tightly compact muscles, and scars that can be seen running down the entire lengths of all of his extremities, due to his harsh style of training.  He wears a tight fitting sleeveless dress shirt with the collar popped, and a comically large tie that runs down his torso.  His pants are baggy, and light, for ease of movement.
Daigo is definitely a calm and relaxed person while not in training or combat, and tends to admire those he considers fairly strong.  However, he is very condescending towards others, even those he is close friends with.  He sees their lack of training in the ways of martial arts as an insult, especially if they're pro heroes, as he considers it to be the very essence of being human.  He believes that one's body is a vessel that needs to be maintained through sheer dedication and willpower alone, and mocks anyone else who strictly uses weapons, powers, or enhancing gear.  This also means that he tends to eat extremely healthy foods, and teases people who engorge themselves on fatty foods or sweets, while he sneaks a soda in every once and a while.  While in combat, Daigo turns into a complete Sadist, a result of his upbringing, and prefers a slow fight with his opponents to drag out their pain.  After all, a villain or monster who acts so cruel is using their vessel for evil, and is not worthy to have such a thing.

Daigo, in his fits of Sadism, often thinks of his past, and the brutality he faced when raised.  He has a very high disdain for authority figures that remind him of his father.

However people see him, he still believes he is a defender of the innocent, and will always fight to improve himself and promote proper diet and martial arts!
Although he doesn't have any supernatural abilities, Daigo is in peak physical condition, and abnormally stronger and faster than a regular human of his size.  He can run a mile in less than a minute, and can shatter boulders the size of a car with an open palm.  He has also mastered many Martial Arts, but prefers the deadly and precise blows of Muy Thai, which utilizes the hardest parts of his body such as his knees and elbows.  The blows with these body parts are enough to send pressure waves to extend far beyond the strike.  Keeping in line with his chosen style, the durability of his strongest bones has surpassed that of some of the hardest metals.  His humorous Tie is also not a fashion statement, as it weighs over 2 tons, is bladed at the tip, and can extend up to 10 feet.  A technique he calls the Mamba Scorch utilizes a kick that smacks the tip of his tie forward, extending it for a piercing attack.  Along with his tie, Daigo can utilize many other weapons such as swords, Kunai, and Shuriken.  Daigo also has keen battle senses, allowing him to gauge intent, while also heightening his awareness.

Class: A
Daigo was raised in a family of long time martial artists.  His father was the one who ran their family dojo, and brutally raised Daigo as the heir to the family name.  His father brutally instilled into him the ways of many martial arts, and didn't care that his son usually ended training sessions broken and battered.  After learning that heroes were becoming more relevant, Daigo desperately wanted to help people with martial arts while promoting it at the same time, to make his dojo as popular as possible.  After gaining enough popularity, he wishes to open up his own Hero Self Defense dojo, much like his Idle in the hero world, Bang, and challenge his brutal father's ways.

Name: Linda "Lin" Lissen
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Image

Tall and willowy, standing at 5'9" and weighing 140lbs, Lin has a rather graceful looking figure. Her fashion sense leans towards "less is more" as she's more comfortable with the freedom of movement. Her eyes, unlike the above image, are an incredibly light blue that borders on grey, and her hair is a soft purple coloring. She keeps it cut short and tends to even then tie it back when she's about to go into action. Her pale skin can often be seen with various cuts and bruises she gained through fighting and freerunning.

A girl who likes to be on the move, Lin doesn't seem to be very good at patience or sticking to one place. She hates that she has to sleep and tries her best to avoid it as much as possible. She just wants to keep doing things. When she does stop she tends to overthink and analyze things which can often lead to her getting distracted by the smallest of things.

She's rather cocky despite her low rank and seems to think that the system doesn't do people justice. After all Saitama, who many now know as a great hero, started out low ranked. Partially inspired by his growing fame Lin tends to believe that it doesn't matter where you are but instead where you're going.

Lin is also an incredibly friendly person and loves to play with people in various ways. Be it teasing, games, or just chatting while strolling around town, she loves to be around people and loves even more to see people being around people.

Rather observant despite her relative lack of knowledge. Lin is good at, and enjoys, watching people and reading their non-verbal cues.
Born to a pair of store, specifically music store, owners, Lin was always surrounded by sound. She loved strolling the aisles and listening to a bit of everything. She grew up quite happily and well loved. There was only one, not so small, snag. Her mother's older brother, a bigwig in a rather unsavory group, had decided to use the store as a front for criminal activities behind Lin's parent's backs. When they eventually found out they were too frightened to do anything about it as, due to his connections, he was all but untouchable by regular legal means.

Lin saw her parents grow more tired and dispassionate as time went on and watching their change into a sort of stagnant depression terrified the young girl.

When Lin realized the powers she possessed, at a young age, she knew what she had to do. Become a hero. Stop criminals. And, eventually, find a way to put her uncle behind bars.
Powers: Linda can control glass. Shatter it, move it, and even stack it together to create surprisingly sturdy barriers or platforms. She cannot control the glass when it's entirely shattered, and, even if she could, she'd avoid doing so due to how damaging small bits of glass could be if inhaled.

She also has trained quite a bit in hand-to-hand, to suppliment what otherwise would be a rather deadly ability. She's learned how to use a staff which, at times, she'd reinforce with glass blades, and uses freerunning skills in order to get an edge over otherwise physically superior foes.

Class: C
Ability Type: Psychic(?)

Stamina: 7

Intelligence: 4

Justice: 9

Endurance: 3

Power: 3

Popularity: 4

Effectiveness: 8

Fighting Ability: 7
Because the stats used are a bit...odd to fit to Lin I'll be explaining my thoughts on them to get a better picture.

Ability Type: Her actual power is purely psychic but she also fights with a weapon and hand to hand so unsure how to classify.

Stamina: This was hard because her fitness is quite high but her actual strength is rather low. Think like more 8 fitness and 3 strength

Intelligence: She's not super book smart, though not dumb, and can be sorta dense but she has high observation skills which seemed best put elsewhere (See below)

Justice: Due to her uncle she has a strong desire for people to be punished for their crimes and also she feels that low ranked heroes don't get the recognition they deserve.

Endurance: Her body isn't built to take hits well. She can handle it but it wouldn't take much force to really damage her.

Power: While dangerous, glass isn't exactly destructive

Popularity: Likely not very well known but her attitude would likely make those who do know her like her.

Effectiveness: Where she really shines is her observation skills and ability to think on her feet to come up with sometimes creative solutions.

Fighting Ability: While young she's done her best to learn how to fight well in order to suppliment her powers in the best way possible.
Theme: TBD

-Loves bunnies

-Sends most of the money she earns, in secret, to her parents.

-Carries a Kevlar backpack full of glass shards (with a side pocket for a camera she enjoys using)

Character Name: Midas 2.3
Age: 3
Sex: N/A (personality type: Male)
Appearance: Image

Midas is a 6'7" humanoid robot with a sleek, lithe design. His armor has a colour scheme of yellow/white/black with the yellow segments actually being covered with a very thin pyrite plate to give it a golden sheen. Those plates, however, are prone to scratching and tarnishing (something that Midas is very self-concious about). The feature of Midas that stands out the most is the large screen-monitor mounted for a head. While Midas has various small cameras discreetly hidden on his chest and head for visual identification, the screen faceplate is mostly used for communication purposes.

Personality: Vain, cheap, and greedy, Midas is an odd machine with a strong drive to live a life of wealth and luxury. Midas has a bombastic and outstanding personality that demands attention and praise, giving him a reputation of a hero that does more showboating than actual hero work. Midas, due to his young age, is also one to present a degree of social naivety. While being a machine grants limitless access to factual knowledge via the internet, it does not provide experiential knowledge of human interaction, and despite spending as much time learning what he can about human interaction and culture, Midas is still known to speak his mind when really he shouldn't, or insert himself into situations where it really is not appropriate. All of this aside, Midas, deep down, is not a bad person, and one vestige of his former life stands out loudest among the rest: the desire to help others.

Background: The Midas android was built around the discovery of a magical artifact that was accidentally made in an attempt to create the Philosopher's Stone-- an artifact made in the wake of the death of one of the scientists working on that project. The artifact was discovered to not behave like the Philosopher's Stone was said to; consuming wealth for power rather than creating it for prosperity. While acting with a personality of its own, this stone still holds many memories and aspects of the scientist who died in its creation. Taking the job of a hero as it appealed to his ideals of an easy life of wealth and excess in the spotlight, Midas continues to live out his past life's dream of working towards a utopic society (albeit now through the destruction of evil). Intended growth for Midas is initially centered around learning selflessness and sacrificing for others.

Powers: While having the enhanced physical abilities of being a well-designed robot, Midas is equipped with two energy blasters that fire through the palms of his hands that are fed directly by the stone that powers the entire machine. Midas is also equipped with jet boosters through his legs and back. His signature ability, "Pay to Win", allows him to temporarily increase his overall strength and ability, including the gadgets and equipment fed through his system, by sacrificing currency. This can be done through printed money, gold and other precious jewels/metals, but is also seen to work through credit/debit interfaces that feed directly into the stone. Any sort of debt created by credit interactions can have negative side-effects once the boost wears off proportional to the amount of debt created.
Character Name: Dr. Celeste Chase
Age: 25
Sex: Female
Celeste is 5-7 with flat feet. She is has pale skin and brown hair with blond highlights. She wears bronze colored glasses with a white zipper jacket with copper accents. She pairs this with jeans and white athletic shoes. She wears a ring on her right hand made of bronze and is embedded with a dark blue corundum gem. She also wears a ruby earning and a white diamond earing.
Celeste is deeply interested in the psychological workings of people. She expresses concern for many people, being able to understand people from many different backgrounds. She is reserved, liking to check other people's opinions on places before going to different places. She likes to help people, and searches her friends heads (with their permission) and helps clear their heads from their mental trauma. She is very empathetic. She is very sensitive to verbal insults, finding them brutish and barbaric.
She is Psychic, using her mind over her body. Her mind and psychology schooling lets her look into people's minds and asses possible weaknesses. She can use her mind to lift herself off the ground, and has a lot of mental dexterity. She has to focus this ability through an item of crystalline origin. She has enough control to control a car through a driver's ed test. However this does something peculiar, the more energy she uses, the more the crystals she uses grow. She can focus on concentrating her energy to make them grow and shape them to her will. But her abilities are no joke. She once caught a piece of concrete with her mind that weighed 450 pounds and threw it back at them with relative ease. She also stopped a moving semi truck to a complete stop in ten seconds. This takes easily a little under a million newtons of force, about 200 grams of tnt. She immediately passed out afterwards, but hey, it's the thought that counts.
She has a few hard counters though. She has trouble looking through the minds of animal-like creatures and cyborgs. However, she can not see into the minds of robots, and doesn't dare look into the minds of serial killers or people with psychological problems. If she does, it takes her a few minutes to shake off the psychological baggage. She also is physically frail with low stamina, so she prefers to stop fights as fast as possible. Without a focal point her ability is weak, unrefined. It takes all her focus to do something that normally would be no problem.

Class: She is mid B tier.
At a young age, about 13, she was given an IQ test, and had a score of 132. She went to a prestigious private school, and noticed that she could detect the thoughts of her classmates. During her college years she realized with her mind she can move objects with her mind, and had heard about a hero who was astronomically stronger than anyone else. This inspired her, and by the time she earned a doctorate degree in Psychology with a minor in geology at the age of 24, she had mastery in this. Her father was so proud, he gave her his ring. Now she owns a Psychology clinic and works as a Hero in the city, stopping by the office every day at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day.

May or may not post an app. No promises. In the meantime, might I suggest a Discord server for ease of communication? You seem to have been away from YCM for quite some time, but while you were away, they ended up taking over Skype chats (which in turn took over OOC threads) for quick communication and planning on the fly, which is why many of the more recent OOCs you've probably seen may seem to be mostly for app storage and major announcements.

Oh, the world has changed so quickly, with the skypes and the discords and the instagrams. Damn kids get off my lawn!

But yea, thanks for the hot tip. That probably explains why the Planning forum is such a ghost town. I suppose I'll set up a Discord thing up once the RP is close to starting, so that people can co-ordinate introductions and stuff.

A Discord earlier on usually helps facilitate discussion between potential participants on ideas for things you want to see, ideas for characters, etc.

OPM roleplay seems a bit, dunno, shakey. The source material is 95% about comedy and style, which I dunno if an RP can keep the same kind of feeling. I'll be keeping an eye on this though and will throw up an app if I have an especially cool idea.

While this can be true I don't make a chat until I decide who is in it and generally add them in a few at a time depending on how I accept.

So it's really a case of can work either way.

Yea I've been working on making a Discord server already, but I plan on giving out the link once someone submits an application. So far I haven't got any takers yet, so no Discord yet.

I agree with waiting to see whose in. I'd rather not need to watch the Discord before anyone has committed any effort. If you're just interested and have a question, they can ask it here so everyone can get that question answered.

I really beg to differ. While the main appeal of OPM is definitely its style and comedy, it has pretty solid worldbuilding. The Hero Association has a lot of material to work with, where the internal politics can be just as intriguing and dangerous as the city destroying monsters. I've always had a soft spot for stories that have a political aspect and I've always wanted to try my hand writing my own. Plus, I think that without the style, I should be fine leaning on the comedy aspect of the show, as it is not in short supply. I mean, all the comedy could just come from me throwing the most ridiculous villains and monsters at the heroes and everyone just taking it as seriously as possible in the typical shounen style.

I'll be keeping an eye on this though and will throw up an app if I have an especially cool idea.

I hope that you'll consider joining. I am wiling to start with even 1 player, as I have a few ideas that could be done with just one hero.

Looking good! I like the stormy kind of hero Jack is, quite similar to Tatsumaki and Fubuki. It might even be to the point where you might get newbie crushed... Accepted! I do have two concerns though that I would like to address:

 1. Jack's very low effectiveness and fighting ability combined with very high power makes me imagine that the way his powers works is mostly in a chaotic and uncontrolled way, causing massive amounts of collateral damage. If you wish to play him that way, I will warn that the more collateral damage caused while fighting crime can negatively affect reputation, which may be against his glory hound goals. I will also note that low stamina will often lead Jack to become exhausted more than the average person. Again, if you're cool with that, more power to you!
 2. Jack admires Saitama's mission to protect the weak, but is also a glory hound, running contrary to Saitama's general attitude towards fame. Is his pursuit of fame going to be played as a character flaw? I'm not going to stop you from having Jack be an unreserved glory hound, I just would also like to see how he manages to deal with the cognitive dissonance.

With a cute raincoat like that, her popularity won't be 3 for long! She might end up being nicknamed Cute Flame or something! Accepted!

One thing I will need to address about the water weakness. If there is a seaborne enemy, would the risk of falling in be enough to completely stop her from fighting crime? I wouldn't be opposed to reducing the effects of water on Krohka, to making him weak and unable to confer any benefit rather than completely melting away. This will reduce the possibility of Krohka being completely annihilated because they fell into a pool!

<3 I set her popularity low since she tends to bail before the media shows up and stuff, so things like interviews with Nanami would be very tough to dig up if they exist at all, and commercials and stuff with her would be basically nonexistent (not that I imagine B-class heroes - especially ones who are pretty new to the Association - would have commercials and merchandise so soon).

It would for that seaborne enemy, but the way I see it is, every hero should have some type of enemy that they just outright can't fight. Superman can't fight anyone with kryptonite handy, Wolverine can't fight Magneto, etc.

Character Name: Artemis Francheska Ravenhart
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Appearance:
Artemis wears a t-shirt sleeve shirt with a small, black leather jacket. She also wears black jeans and tennis shoes. She has black hair, violet eyes, and pale skin. She is skinny, with some muscle. Lastly, she wears black gloves with violet X's(for show).

Personality: She is a quiet girl, though she does talk. She is well mannered casually, however in a fight she acts almost insane. She isn't super-serious, as she does occasionally crack jokes(mostly puns). Artemis enjoys toying with her opponent, however, if necessary she will attempt to outright kill them. She likes helping people when she can and will do so without hesitation, as she could care less for the money.
Powers: She is able to make small shields that extend from the palm of her hands. These shields are not limited to size, however, larger sizes lower the durability of the shield. A small, round shield can take about as much twenty trucks running into it, while a large wall about the size of a one-story wall can take half that. The shields can also take shape if she wished, however, it takes longer for these to open fully, The small shield can open at around half a second.
Class: B-Class
Background: Artemis was born and had a happy life from her childhood. In her teenage years, she discovered her powers. She became somewhat gothic, yet maintaining school grades and such. After graduating high school, she got a job as a cashier at a convenience store. She didn't really care and made as best of a living as she could. She saw Mumen Rider attempt to stop a crime on TV and decided to apply for the heroes association to make a living. After being accepted, she quit her job to join.

1. This is a my bad on my part, I understood Fighting Ability as more "CQC" type of fighting. Although yes, in my mind high usage of his power would lead to more "chaotic" outbursts and more collateral damage, which is part of the reason why I put Power so high to represent the potential in how destructive his power can be. As for Stamina, my intention was that he'd have about the same stamina as an average person, which would lead to him tiring out more often due to electric powers. Basically I was trying to paint a picture of "high power ranged electric attacks, kinda weak on the physical front" sort of idea. I think I need to tweak the stats a bit to reflect what I was trying to go for, if you don't mind.

2. Basically yeah. The progression I had in mind would be that he becomes more humble and less attention seeking as the story continues, and he starts seeing the more virtuous and heroic side of Saitama's attitude rather than just seeing him for his massive power.

In the hands of a stronger fighter, Danika's power would be fearsome indeed. She has the ability to dive into shadows other than her own, reaching a dimension consisting entirely of water. While she is in this dimension, her shadow remains on the surface above (again, she cannot exit the water world through her shadow). This shadow makes it easy for enemies to see when she is approaching or follow her to wait for when she surfaces for air. Fortunately, this shadow fades the deeper she goes and at 5 meters underwater the shadow fades completely.

Danika is an experienced swimmer and can hold her breath for 3 to 4 minutes. However, physical exertion inevitably decreases this amount so generally she can stay underwater for around a minute in a pitched battle.

The greatest part of her ability is probably the power to drag others into the water world with her. The limitation is that any surface on the target that was already touching the ground must no longer be touching the ground, thus she cannot simply drag an opponent down through their feet but must sweep enemies off their feet before pulling them under. This makes it impossible for her to drag more powerful foes into the water as she simply lacks the strength and speed to knock them over.

Danika is, however, a reasonably good strategist. She knows her greatest advantage is the element of surprise and seldom openly approaches her foes. Also, to take advantage of her superpower, Danika wields a three-section spear which can be used both as a polearm to strike enemies without surfacing and also as a snare to drag enemies down.

I don't think I can accept this application right now. I think it requires some more work. First off, why did you black out some text? It was just annoying, I had to highlight the text to read it. Here's a list of things I will need to see changed before I can accept.

 1. Artemis' appearance needs some more expanding upon or an image reference. Right now, I don't have a clear image in my head on what she looks like. Some questions that you may want to answer to help expand on her appearance: "Does she have any distinguishing marks?" "Is she taller or shorter than the average person?" "How does she carry herself as she walks the street?"
 2. You will need to choose a clearer personality for Artemis. Right now, the personality you wrote for her doesn't have a clear direction and appears to be trying to do everything at once. She's quiet, but talks. She's prim and proper, but is savage in a fight. She's sadistic, yet enjoys helping people. I don't mind a character who contradicts themselves sometimes, but I don't think you can make a good character entirely out of contradictions.
 3. You did not fill out the Hero Rating, so I'm not really sure how Artemis fights. I know she can summon barriers, but does she have any other powers that set her apart from the average person? Even things like being stronger and faster needs to be listed in the powers section. I ask you to either fill out the Hero Rating section or to greatly expand on her Powers section and list every single thing she does better than the average person.

Your application does have some good qualities such that I would really like to see you keep working on your application. The barrier power is super interesting and has many potential applications. Her link to Mumen Rider in her background is elegant and simple, just what I was looking for. Maybe throw in a reference to Saitama as well to fit with the theme of the RP.

Daigo, in his fits of Masochism, often thinks of his past, and the children he had to slaughter in order to become who he was today.  He begs for their forgiveness after every fight, regardless of the outcome.  He's often found training, to keep his mind off of those facts, and doesn't tend to socialize well with heroes.  He craves a good fight, one to make his mind wander to that instead of his past sins.

However people see him, he still believes he is a defender of the innocent, and will always fight to improve himself and promote proper diet and martial arts!
Body Flicker: An ability that makes the user almost invisible to the human eye.  The user can travel great speeds, and long distances in seconds with this technique.  However, the user is not able to deliver an attack unless they stop flickering.

Teleportation: The user disappears in a cloud of smoke, and reappears somewhere else.  Usually used as an escape tool.

Fire Style: Fire's Fury:  The user can immolate their hands and feet to deliver scorching blows.  The flame extinguishes upon first contact.

Water Style: Pressure Pipe:  The user creates water in their mouth, and spits it out in an incredible thin stream with enough pressure to cut metal.

Earth Style: Brick Wall: The user creates a wall of earth in front of them.  Cannot be used if the floor he is on is not in contact with the ground itself, or if the earth cannot penetrate the surface he stands on.

Air Style: Vacuum Wave: A strike that strikes the very air to carry the force of the strike all the way to it's target.

Class: A
Daigo was raised in a village of ninjas in training, where they would be raised to be ultimate killing machines, unbeknownst to them of course.  Once raised to the age of 14, all of the children around the same age would battle to the death to see who would graduate to a pedigree ninja.  It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Daigo rose to become the pedigree ninja of his age group, but was sickened at the fact of what he had done to the other children he grew up with.  Daigo wishes to destroy the old ways of the villages, and run them as he sees fit, training children to be strong without having to kill their friends.  To do this, he must master different types of Martial Arts, and Secret Ninpo, to defeat his elders.

I did warn in the rules that A-class heroes will be held to a much higher standard than other classes, so please don't take it personally when I say that I can't accept this application right now. My concerns are listed below.

 1. The overall theme of bloody vengeance is too grim for what I'm going for this RP. I don't mind Daigo wanting to distance himself from his brutal training as a child, but I don't feel that his quest to destroy the regime that put him through hell is something that fits the theme of the RP.
 2. I'm confused by the mention of masochism in the personality section. Are you trying to say that Daigo enjoys being injured, or that he enjoys injuring others? It wasn't referenced elsewhere and I was wondering if you confused masochism with sadism.
 3. You said in the Powers section that Daigo is not explicitly supernatural and is just in great shape, but then go on to say that he is able to teleport, harness the elements and carries a 2-ton tie everywhere? He certainly sounds supernatural to me! Also, I think his powers are too broad, being able to be a powerful brawler while also being naturally stealthy and having elemental control. I think you need to focus into one of his current aspects. I really like the idea of a hero names "Muay Tie", so perhaps you should consider dropping the ninja powers and focusing his powers in Muay Thai. Perhaps his shin and elbow strikes are powerful enough to fire out pressure waves to assault distant foes?

Please let me know what you choose to do with your application. If you need to bounce ideas off me, please do so. I want to accept your application and I'm willing to help you make it so I can!

I s'pose I should get started on something.

1.  I mean there are other players in the OPM universe out for revenge (I.E. Genos), but sure, it's not for this specific world I suppose.  I changed his backstory entirely to fit more in line with a martial artist.

2. I forgot to change that part to Sadistic.  I mixed the two words up and forgot to replace that one.

3. What I had in mind was more along the lines of Bang and Suiryu.  I wouldn't think there powers are supernatural, I.E. Telekinesis or anything.  And I did drop the Ninja Powers entirely.  I feel you're right in saying I should focus on one aspect and roll with that.  I guess I was just trying to make his movepool really diverse, but I can see what you were talking about.

With all that said, my app has been edited to try and meet the A rank standard.

Alrighty, it's been a while since my last RP here and I feel like playing the hero for once. Here we go!
Character Name: Nikko
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Appearance: Nikko is in good shape for his age, and stands less than an inch short of six feet. He has black hair that comes a little past his ears, that he struggles to keep neat (and fails). His eyes are cyan, a little ringed with exhaustion. He normally wears jeans, along with whatever shirt and hoodie he has on-hand, and his lucky shades. Under his clothes, he has a long scar running from his clavicle to his hips, like someone performed an autopsy on him. When doing hero work, he wears cargo pants, a belt of small pouches (most of which contain candy) and a black tank top.

Personality: Nikko does not have a high opinion of himself: by and large he believes he is a bad person, and only a mediocre hero. He tends to see himself in the worst possible light, and assumes the worst possible scenario most of the time. All of this stems from his short temper (read: pride), which he just barely keeps in check. In the rare instance he loses his cool, he is incredibly violent and foul-mouthed. Regardless, he still works hard at being a hero, accepting no praise, and suppressing any feelings that come up as a result of it. He has a huge sweet tooth, and carries off-brand candy on his person at all times. When dealing with children, he's a little rough, but nice. When speaking to superiors, or figures of authority, Nikko is polite.

Powers: Nikko currently possesses one actual superpower: Transformation. He can transform between various battle forms, thanks to his body now being made of living metal. These forms can vary wildly, and serve an equally wide variety of functions. There's only one catch: He has no idea how to transform. His only advice on the matter was "Purpose dictates function. Function dictates form." (Think of it like Megaman, only a little more creative.)

Class: C On account of he's capable, but not exceptional in any sense.

Background: As a child, Nikko's pride got him into fights constantly, and so he was taught to control his emotions and to shrug off what other people said and did to him. Nikko was recently kidnapped by a mad scientist named Dr. Kurokage, who gave him his metal heart and subsequent superpower, because "[Nikko is] not special." I want Nikko to embrace the pride that he tries to keep suppressed and learn to use his powers. In that order, but not all at once. He has to learn to love himself again.
Ability Type: Physical (ideally changing to Mechanical over time)

Stamina: 5

Intelligence: 5

Justice: 5

Endurance: 5

Power: 5

Popularity: 5

Effectiveness: 5

Fighting Ability: 5

I can understand the comparison between Daigo and Genos, but Genos has not shown any sadistic tendencies. Getting revenge is one thing, but going out and destroying and torturing an entire organization is another, something that I'd rather not go in an otherwise lighthearted RP.

Other than that, I think the edited Daigo should be good enough for A tier.

Finished writing my ability if you want to look it over. Will finish the rest of it later this week.

I really like the shadow diving ability! It is really perfect for a high potential C-class hero, which is exactly what I was hoping C-class heroes to be! Also, what is stopping her from just getting some SCUBA gear and just hanging out in the Shadow sea for hours?

I do like the idea of a hero not entirely in control of their power, I will still need to know exactly what his abilities do, at least as the position of the RP host. If you want the exact extent of his abilities secret, you can PM me, but before I can accept I will need know what you have in mind.

It's hard to carry scuba diving gear around and hard to move on land with it. She also can't really jump out of the water with scuba gear easily to pull people down. And as a highschool girl whose family is in a tough financial situation, she can't afford scuba gear either much less sophisticated custom fighting gear with an air tank.

C Rank lyfe is tough. Hopefully she will get upgrades in the future.
