Target 1 Fusion, Synchro or Xyz monster you control; Special Summon 1 Link 3 or lower Link monster with the same type whose ATK is equal or less than the targeted monster from your Extra Deck to an unoccupied Extra Monster Zone where it points to the targeted monster. For the rest of the turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters. So designed for MR 5, Legend Link is a Spell that lets you bring out a Link monster for free from your Extra Deck as long as it meets the cards conditions.
