If this card points to a Machine monster, this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponents card effects. You can only activate the following effects of "SKY FIRE - The Fierce Flying Fortress" once per turn.
* When your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster: You can destroy it, and if you do, inflict 800 points of damage to your opponents LP.
* When your opponent activates a card or effect: You can negate the activation and destroy it, and if you do, inflict 800 points of damage to your opponents LP.
* When your opponent Sets a card: You can destroy it, and if you do, inflict 800 points of damage to your opponents LP.

So this Link Retrain of SKY FIRE takes on the abilities of its reactor parts where with a HOPT if your opponent summons a monster, activates a card effect or set a card, this card will neutralize it and deal 800 points of damage to the opponent.

Damn, this thing is too strong. Not only is much more accessible than the original SKY FIRE, also it comes with a negation effect the original SKY FIRE doesn't have, although in exchange it's missing the "discard; destroy 1 card" effect. I have mixed feelings for this because on one hand, it's powerful already, but on the other, I want to see nice support for SKY FIREs while they got hurt by the BKSS ruling on Dark Flattop, making it unable to Summon a SKY FIRE that wasn't properly Summoned, and I'm tempted to suggest making this be treated as "Flying Fortress SKY FIRE" while in the Deck or GY just for Dark Flattop to be able to bring it back.
Still, not a fan of this card's accessibility, getting 3 Machines with 3 different Levels shouldn't be too hard nowadays. Thinking you can make it require at least "Summon Reactor SK" to further tie in with Reactors, it requires more set-up, and as a reference to Flying Fortress' summoning condition.
