Two Coffin's Two Monsters

Normal trap card

If you control 1 or less monsters, you can activate this card from your hand. Target 1 Level 6 or lower monster in your GY and 1 level 6 or lower monster in your opponent's GY; Special Summon those targets in Attack Position. During the End Phase: Destroy both monsters and take damage equal to the combined Level of those monsters x400 (if those monsters are no longer on the field during the end phase, you still take damage) You can only use this effect of ''Two coffin's Two monsters'' once per turn.

The artwork of this card would show Elemental HERO Flame Wingman and Elemental HERO Steamhealer smashing out from two coffin's.

You know, I used to make this mistake a lot. Counter Traps require that you counter something. A Summon, an activation, etc. This card only Special Summons, so it cannot be a Counter Trap, even if you want that sweet Spell Speed 3. Now, see those ???? I placed over there? It's because you need to specify what kind of monster you're SSing from the opponent's deck. Even if it's any monster, or if it's another Level 6 or lower, you must mention it. You needn't say "to your side of the field". If you're SSing, it's always to your side, unless the card specifies otherwise in the shape of "Special Summon it to your opponent's field."

The card in itself is extremely overpowered, imo. The thing is, the card destruction and the damage you take are linked. If there's no destruction = no damage. Which means, these fellows wil be used for materials almost always. Obviously, there's the risk your opponent screws your play somehow, but still, it's too good. If you'd take the damage the moment the monsters are SS'ed ok, it would be a balanced, since the x400 is pretty rough.

Well, while the card could theoretically cost the user 4800 LP, it won't. This is simply due to the fact that the 2 monsters in question will likely be used for something bigger.

Option 1: Tribute them for a Lv7+

Option 2: Rank 6 Xyz

Option 3: Link away.

This is just off the top. Odds are the cost of playing this card will never happen. I'm far from a pro and this is just ideas.

No, you're completely right, Horu, exactly my point. It's OP because the "supposed cost to balance" likely won't happen

This card has a weird balance, i understand the concern that on the skim-reading this card is potentially OP

But there "and" wording, which change the perspective a bit

So the cards actually have to target opponent monster as part of its activation so this card is practically useless for the player going 1st unless he/she have means to mill/hand-dumping opponent. While this kinda balance it a bit, its also equally encourage and discourage deck building/card design in a negative way

That being said i dont really like the rest of the design for same reason others mention. my addition is any scenario that this card unleash its full potential is promoting a playstyle that's not really a fun one, psychologically-wise (offensive 1st turn opponent mill/hand dump)
