Wildprince15 Posted March 21, 2021 Report Share Posted March 21, 2021 Hello, how are you? I don't usually comment so you probably don't know who I am, but I just had to comment when I saw these. This is a wonderful concept and I love everything about it, from the effects to the art. I can see so much potential in these cards and I would love it if they were made real. There is only one problem I see with these cards so far. They can be summoned with any fusion card which is good, but the archetypal fusion card is limited to the point where it turns your fusions into ritual monsters with how many resources they end up wasting. You can use the field spell to make use of the resources you put in grave, and the attack loss restriction is nice, but you still lose your hand just to summon monsters that can't afford to attack at all. They are upgraded forms of the original monsters and I love it, but the only one that can make an impact on it's own in terms of attack is the Flawless Blue-Eyes. I understand completely if you do not intend these cards to impact the meta, and I'm not too much of a fan of the meta myself, but that ATK value and loss of resources would make these unplayable outside of casual settings unless you added resource recursion and draw power. When something is arcane, it is usually wild and untamed. So while I like the idea of Arcane monsters being part of the Extra Deck, I think they are better suited with Slifer's red frame as opposed to a standard Fusion frame.
