cr47t Posted February 12, 2022 Report Share Posted February 12, 2022 https://slate.com/technology/2022/02/earn-it-act-fourth-amendment-violation.html i dont think i need to elaborate beyond the article on why this is legitimately dangerous - the issue of child abuse on the internet is a real issue that needs to be dealt with but this is absolutely not the way to do it, esp. since (slate argues this too) this is going to almost certainly make the problem worse not only by gov't power creep, but also by giving new resources and possibly even a universal conviction-killer for the majority of the worst people ever.
