Nintendo Banning Pokemon Cheaters

This may be old news, but if you use an Action Replay on your pokemon games, don't go on WiFi.

 

Rumers say that Nintendo is "outraged" by the amount of illeagle pokemon on wifi. If you are caught with these types of pokemon, nintendo will isolate your number.

Well I guess I can see why they're so annoyed. I used to cheat on Ruby, because where I am we were rarely get events and I would never in a million years get to get the Pokemon, but I do have several cheated Pokemon from other people, such as a shiny Magmortar, and other shinies, I'd never use them anyway. I usually exploders instead of Action Replay anyway.

 

Plus I currently have no WiFi, thanks to Nintendo being stupid and not using WPA....which most routers take instead.

cheats are for cheaters

 

i dont use cheats there just pointless. you might as well just give up or keep trying only to options there are...no cheats are even needed in any game.

Same thing happned in my Brother's Pearl Version. He cant restart the game or save it. However, he can still trade and battle, and sometimes save, if he doesnt screw up. My AR has screwed up my Diamond version. One island is banned, and some pokemon appear blank. Funny though.

However, I only use AR for level cheats. I catch the pokemon myself.

read the risks no use complaining it says when you first turn on the ar "this is not licensed or a part of Nintendo company" or something like that and most cheats are buggy so yea USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! and don't complain if it screws up your game

I had a similar thing happen to me by accident a while ago, I was playing Socom 2 online and I forgot I still had my Gameshark on, I tried to connect to the online server and got locked out for a day.

First, how will they find out who uses AR? Besides most people only really use AR for getting event only pokemon, get TMs (Only thing I used it for), and quickly getting their pokemon to level 100. I can understand people being banned for those, but the things they are banning people for is stupid.

 

National-Dex (as in seeing all 150? If so that is really stupid)

Catching All 493 Pokemon (Why does it matter if they do?)

All Shiny (Again who cares?)

 

Also question. Does the TM cheat give you like 99 Explorer Kits in our Mail bag cause it did for me.

Those aren't the reasons of the bans. Those are some commonly used codes included for no reasons.

Nitendo must have realised how the cheat codes make people play the game like stealing candy from a baby in order to come to this decision.

Well Pokemon is a game where you can start over and do the same thing over and over but keep some data.

But at a different view after you've beaten the game for about the 100th time you want to do it. And you CAN be banned on PBR, and D/P. Only for the battle tower though because they can tell if it's a hacked pokemon. Say i use my action replay to make lvl 100 Magikarp 3 of em. Then i beat all the Battle tower guys on wifi.

Now when they check who is on top and see 3 level 100 Magikarp what do you think they think? Same with PBR a common annoying hack is Spirit tomb with Wonder Guard making it invinceable

As far as i know friend battles arnt like wi-fi battles where everyone takes battles more seriously i may just battle a friend with hacked pokemon for fun.

No, only pokemon with like 999 stats are technicly called "Hacked".

A Shiny pokemon has no extra benifits besides the differnt color.
