lukejames
I just thought id bring up this, Most big budget blockbusters now days are pretty poor and survive only off other films. Read as much as possible please - warning some moderate swear alike words! PG-13 I know its hard to agree but the films that appeal to me are . Terminators (1 and 2) . Rambos . Rockys . Aliens . Predator 1 . Matrix's Now im sure ateast 1 of those has to be on your top 5 or top 10list of films, this is more of a continuation of my previous 5 films of all time but anyway just read on. Why Hollywood has no creativity Film makers of todays world usally rape other films plotlines that they liked and use them for there movies, so it seems like half the stuff we see today feel like the films that were classic back in the late 80's and 90's. t3 was a raping of James camerons orginal work just for some last minute cash and ruined everything. The first two terminator films were promising, and TERMINATOR 2 possibly was the best sequel ever made for any movie. The new AVP's are terrible in every way - I even did a review on AVPR http://youtube.com/watch?v=lAXVb3Wz2A8 Marvel continue to make films but only every film they make has to have atleast two or three sequels, the iron man films will be heavily raped and the continuity will grow. So THE argument heres simple - START MAKING NEW FILMS, NOT BASED ON COMICS OR BOOKS BUT FRESH IDEAS! Terminator is a good example, Rocky was inspired. Whats your say? armageddon08
I agree. It seems that almost every movie Hollywood makes now is a piece of sheet compared to what they used to make.
EliminateHRN
Really? Stop making movies based on Comics/Books? Well I don't agree. I like the ones based on comics/books better than regular films. But that is just me
Tkill93
There's not much left to do. Everything's basically been done :/So the best and easiest idea is to mooch off of our childhood ( ie. old comics, remaking old movies, etc. ) knowing that we'll see the movie in hopes that it will be better than the previous ones, or just out of curiosity. The only good movies with fresh ideas now have been based on something already done. There are no more fresh ideas. ~Kenpachi Zaraki
Flame Dragon
I was saying the same thing last year. Almost all the movies that were coming out this time last year were sequels or remakes. Same this year. But, as Tkill said said most good ideas have already been used. O well, at least we have had some good idea, ie 300.
Dad
O well' date=' at least we have had some good idea, ie 300.[/quote'] Was also already done. There have been several movies based on wars, and others based on a small army triumph. But yes, 300 was an epicly awesome movie.
Willieh
Actually none of those films are on my top five list. I like films that are suspense and really hard to follow. :| I'm not sure why. The only real action movie I like is the Die-hard series, and they are not on my list either. Also I hate Hollywood. :?
Poc
Hollywood has never had any creativity, I don't see why this strikes you as news.

armageddon08
There's something I've always wondered; are they ever going to make a Marvel Zombies movie, cause that would be so awesome:).
lukejames
300 was good, but somewhat gladiator was better for me. 300 was a good acting film, but ive only seen it on HD psp UMD movie so i could be wrong when i say the war scenes felt a little bit boring at some points. The ending was a real bummer too, couldnt they just show us the big fight. Trust me, never seen a film i like that i gave on my list?Watch them and youll soon reconsider. I recently watched the elephant man on TV, really good and really sad.
