Fame- A Blessing or a Curse?

To some people fame is everything. You know the type, who try to do anything to get on the front page. However is fame a blessing or a curse.

 

Im going to use the example of paramore. When they first started they played loads of non-barrier shows and they were excellent. However as they grown to this size, it is impossible to do such shows and have such connection with fans. Also everyone seems to critcise what Hayley does such as her getting her septum piercing and dating Chad from New Found Glory.

 

So is fame a blessing or a curse?

Fame will always be considered a blessing by the majority.

Otherwise, people wouldn't want to be presidents, nor actors.

But, based on the whole "Fame leads to the destruction of your life"

type of thing, I'd said fame's desired until acquired.

Fame is a curse in my opinion. I wouldnt want morons with cameras following my every move, spying on me, watching me crash and burn if it happens and so on. It's an invasion of privacy. I think these points are valid.

and anyway fame is both because you get fan girls and stuff (which is good) and stalkers (which is also good) but if you did even one thing bad every one would hate you (which is bad) and you would no time for your self (which is also bad)

i have a good veiw on beuty but........anyway all girls like are guys who are dumber than posts who play rugby anyway or guys who are attractive or smart and i am none of that stuff sigh makes me wish i didnt have emotions

Fame = Blessing: It can be. You are usually rich, and being rich means usually getting whatever you want. Also if you asked random people on the street per say, you would get tons of reactions saying, I want to be rich!

 

Fame = Curse: It can also be a curse. If your rich and famous, you usually have other people following you everywhere, which could very well get annoying. Also you have the media to deal with, as they are always trying to start up rumors to sell big in newspapers, magazines, etc. People are always asking them for autographs which can be quite tedious, but I enjoy watching ET or something and those poor celebs being surrounded by paparazzi and getting smothered, take that American celebs!

 

So personally I would NOT like to be famous. As you have everyone doing everything for you, which means you are lazy, which means you make no contribution to the world whatsoever. :)

Well, in my oppionion, it's a little bit of both, your always being followed, you don't ofetnly see a magazine without your face on it, but on the other hand you get, money, fortune, loads of cool friends and great partys... so more or less both.

Fame is a curse...if your famous and you do something wrong (even something small) its on the front page of some magezine the next day. People would always bother you and your chances of commiting suicide or doing drugs due to "complications" increases.

fame means more than tons of people wanting your autograph, Famous People are also people who are wanted for Jail or the FBI.....

But the good kind of fame....is both a blessing and a curse....

You won't get privacy, people treat you differently than a regular person (which is good and bad), your filthy rich, and well........you have a 50, 50 chance of ruining your career and turning into the new Britney Spears......
