It's referred to as something of legendary status.

The hole in which Frunk filled in this forum..

I assume wouldn't ever be filled again.

And if anyone tries, there shall be consequences =].

Well another Forum I attend had one of their Moderators pass away. They then devoted an entire Section of the site to him. I would say why not have a part of the Forum devoted to the True Legends. The people who gave everything for this Forum.

OldMaster: I actually think the removal of my mod status should ensure that I don't get banned. :P YCMaker gave myself, Danilus and some other former moderators a special group at my request, so I think that will be more than sufficient. Thanks to you mate.

 

VainZiler: It's funny really. As I touched on, when I did leave back in October, I may have been back, but I certainly wasn't the old Frunk I once was. I'd moved on, there really was nothing keeping me on this site except for my mod status, which gave me the feeling of a somewhat personal duty, and then of course I didn't have as much to do back then (in terms of homework :P). Thus, I never really was back, as Azuh said, but just to go out on a much nicer note that in October last year, and leave YCM with a message, I felt like it was worth it.

 

Cyber Altair: In your response to "He'll be back within 3 weeks" garbage, I really do hope someone takes up your bet, as you'd lose.

 

Anyway, YCMaker has indeed removed my status, thus, that's it.

I'll say its been a while since I've spoken to you, and you probably will not read this, so I will keep it brief and address it to the people who will understand what I am talking about. An hour later, it turns out its not so brief.

 

I do not want anyone who our good friend Reece did not "holla at" in his thread or that I did not "holla at" in my post to comment on this for anything on its real meaning. The first paragraph is really just touching base with what Reece said.

 

The way I have seen YCM, a community, the way it was, and what it has become, is essentially what all the most intelligent and prominent members of this forum have seen. You said it yourself, and it really cannot be said any better. It is a cycle, a change, an inevitable occurence, and pulling a Enloe, or a "wow I give a damn" about it shows just how immature you can be. To all you kids who think that this change should not have happened, to those who make new accounts and beg to be repermitted to these forums, get over yourselves, you are not the center of the forums, and after sitting here and reading what Reece has admitted, a high posting moderator leaving forever, it shows that the fact that even he accepts that he is just a menial part of the forum, the same way we are all menial parts of our universe on the broad spectrum, one that most humans cannot even comprehend, then I cannot see why anyone should ever have to complain about the way YCM is, and still see themself through a selfless perspective.

 

Reece, Aaron, Kramer, Colin, Sam, John(Henry), Kevin, Leonid, Ash, George, Tylor, Ryan, - Bishop, James, Ty, Matt. The members who I know on a first name basis on this site, and I could tell you their story here from the time of my arrival here and for the entire of my activity. You know who you are, Kevin, Leo, Tylor and Matt are of course banned, and will by no means see this message, and the possibility always exists that someone will not see this (aka Ryan quitting after I ripped him), but for those who will see, know that you all have made an impact in what I can call my life. Though I am a Determinist and see life as a series of inevitable occurrences, I still would like to Thank Sam and James for introducing me to A Perfect Circle and VNV Nation respectively, and both of you for so much more that I learned from getting to know you (more Sam on that one, we haven't talk as much James.) Ahh Star, I never learned your first name, though I feel it would be appropriate for me to address you by it for this. I would like to say that your creativity and aspiration for attention and fame on the forum has both, for the creativity and determination, made me happy to see you enjoying what you do, despite what ridicule I have heard about you, and made me disgusted that you really care about something as superficial as praise from other people. I guess its normal, and you're really the man, despite being epitomized as "noob" by many. Oldmaster and Cyber Altair, you get a shout, for being generally cool guys, and being intelligent. Even know I do not know your names, you have my respect. Ash and George are long gone, but they were great, funny people while they were here. Let them be remembered for making good men take the internet too seriously. Colin, you're good at what you do, you have a clear understanding of whatever we seem to talk about. I really feel like I don't really know you that well, that I guess I've just lived the old forum belief, oh hes that nice kid whose a funny guy when you really get into his posts. I swear I've read at least 1000 posts from you, and I still feel like I don't know you as well as I should. I would like to say that you really are an intriguing individual, unique in a lot of aspects that I do not see in most people. Its a good thing, trust me. Aaron, the other person I felt I do not know as well as most, I would like to address you first with the less important issue, you have provided the world with enough lulz to last a lifetime, and secondly, to state that you seem to have more character than most. Most people don't even know what character really is anymore, let alone have it, so take it for whatever it means coming from some guy on the internet. Ty, we don't talk, I really don't know you all too well, but I do know that you are good at what you do, and realize that you can put up with a lot, along with being quite intellectual. To you, I say continue what you do for as long as you want to do it, and not for a second more. Kramer, we get whats going on, I know this, and you know whats up. I don't think I need to tell my perspective of your story, or what I think of you, (of course no homo under any circumstances), you clearly grasp what really matters, despite sticking to hobbies like a normal person would. John, I don't think I have ever met a person as truthful about themself, as real as you on the internet before. You're up there with Leonid, Amal, and Elad (and Jose, but he's less intellectual than those guys), the only three (four) kids who I know in IRL who I have seen as genuine people. You're one of few, and I again ask that you take it for what it is to you from some guy on the internet. Reece, though we had our inflated quarrel, I have accepted that you are what you will be, the I'm A Hero personality is not better suited in any person I know. (yeah, you're kinda epic rite?) I really do wish you the best in your future, maybe I'll transfer to Aussie for a semester of Poli Sci or something so we can discuss a way to rule the world and trip balls. Either way, I hope to see you on the news, I think you have a fantastic ability to lead and make people really like you while you do it, and I'd like to see you pursue the expression of that talent for professional use. Other than that, you're the man, seriously.

 

Alright, not much of a story, but just more what I have accumulated from knowing 14 people I met on a forum for a year. I will now address the issue of the reality of the internet. For those who think that this is some stupid way to express yourself, I say to look at youtube, and see if it the cash accumulation from Youtube publicity is as stupid as you think. To those who think it's an excuse to make friends because you cannot in real life, I say that broadening your spectrum makes you able to find and talk to more real, genuine people. I know 3 (4) in real life that I can actually call Genuine, and one of them is going on with life, moving to Israel to start college a year early on Sunday, and today's the last day I will predictably see him. He's been mah boy since 3rd grade, and I'm going into 12th next month. He's going to Barlan U. to become an Engineer, something to do with fiber-optic's (Lazers). As for the other two real people who I really feel are real, lets say that one (the one that none of you know) has shown me enough about how life is, and caused me to realize enough about life for me to be able to call him an intellectual equal on the philosophic level, hell, on most if not all levels, and from me, thats just about impossible to get. The other, Gist, Leo, always has a sense of who he is, not as individuals picture him, but from his own vision, who he sees himself as, and I respect this trait of knowing "who you are" and "where you stand" more than any other trait a person can have. Finding at least 1 more in a year, about 3 weeks total of my time, is worth it.

 

That was my story, and though it probably doesn't have much meaning in Reece's thread, I feel that he deserves my story, for the time he has been here, he, in my eyes, deserves to know what his equals think of him, or at least to know that we can think, for the ones that can.

 

To those who actually read through this, I hope you got something out of it. One story of a forum I have been with for a year (with no intention to leave as of now, but I probably will eventually, and I probably will not make a big thread like this.... Who am I kidding, I probably will... but who knows), my perspective, my vision of who the people are, and my commentation on what the forum really is. I would just like to say that you are the people that make YCM worthwhile. People who take time to read and comprehend what is said on the forums show that they are intellectual enough to clearly and comprehensively see the world for what it is.

 

Respect you all. See you on MSN sometime, on some thread, or later tonight. I won't see you tonight YCM, mah boy, the man whose really been mah boy from the start gets the prerogative on this Friday.

Wow... Frunk I can't imagine this forum without you... You were my role-model when I was a one star, two star, three star and still now a four star member. You will continue to inspire many members even if they hardly knew you. I know this because I hardly know you but you still will inspire me. You probably don't even know me but still...
