Necrophia Posted August 12, 2007 Report Share Posted August 12, 2007 Think again. Someone with a treeborn frog as his avatar really cares about the card, but it isn't essential. Every duel I've seen with Monarchs winning excluded the use of Treeborn. It's a nuisance that restricts use of traps, but as I know, Monarch Decks in all their CC beauty have little traps and so many spells. However my point remains valid. These spells are based primarily around getting Monarchs on the field. Revival cards, control cards, you name it. The other cards are based around destruction. Monarchs are decks that cause destruction or trap, enough said. Let'seewhatcardstoadd? Noblemans - Mainly of Extermination. Crossout could be risky, in case you want to take over a monster, but it would have to be face-up. Magic Drain(s) - Can't go wrong with this card. Waboku(s) - Same as above. Protect your monsters and offer them the following turn. Marauding Captain - Special Summong any 4 or Lower monster. So good. Yeh Emo's cut themselves thats why i said it's an Emo Deck. NOT! I never seen an Emo cut their self so I don't know. I don't even know how a Deck cuts itself anyways.I just said Emo because Equip, and MOnarch, but I guess people figured that out already. [/quote'] :lol: And Soul Immortal, I wasn't serious about Bamboo... It's effect is: "The equipped monster gains 0 ATK." It's a VERY bad card. Your comment was a load of BS tbh. Frog is ESSENTIAL in all Monarch decks. Just as I have it as my avatar, doesn't mean I favour it above any other card. Threatening Roar > Waboku for obvious reasons. Marauding is just TERRIBLE. Nobleman of Extermination would be best sided. After game 1 in a match, side them in if your opponent sides in as they'll likely side rugs. Despite hating the concept of this deck, I'm trying to help. The whole concept is for it to keep coming back so you can tribute for monarchs. The deck is not really that special either so try again.
