Its an alright card. Not my favorite of the god cards. Definitely the easiest to win with.

All of them need 3 tributes, but if you tribute 2 at any time after he's summoned, you automatically destroy every card on your opponent's side of the field and inflict 4000 direct lifepoint damage, just by effect. Then you can attack with 4000 attack, decimating their lifepoints.

Slifer is what I prefer. Prevents any powerful monsters from getting out onto the field and his attack gets stronger and stronger with each card in your hand.

Tri, lol

Of course they are over-powered cards.

They aren't LIKE them, they ARE them.

That's why they are banned *omg...a broken record*

The god's were designed to be over-powered. They were created to be the "most-powerful cards ever created" so of course, their abilities are off the charts when they finally make it onto the field.

Come on, no traps can stop them. No spell cards effect them unless they bring them back from the graveyard. No monster effects work on them. The best you can try to do is over-power them, but that's almost impossible with their effects.

Awesome cards. Awesome.

Obelisk's effect:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 3 monsters you control. This card's Summon and effect cannot be negated. This card cannot be affected by card effects, even those that do not target this card. You can Tribute 2 monsters you control to destroy all cards your opponent controls.

Fires of Doomsday? Scapegoat? Inferno Reckless Summon?

I'm going by the WCT2008 effect rather than the anime effect.

Might you fill me in' date=' what's the WCT2008 effect of Obelisk?

You must offer 3 Tributes to Tribute Summon this card. When this card is Special Summoned, it is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be targeted by Spells, Traps or Monsters that designate a target. By offering 2 Monsters on your Field as Tributes, all Monsters on your opponent's Field are destroyed.
