CrabHelmet
It's time for a banlist construction game. The rules are simple. With no banlist, the card pool contains three of every card. When a card is Semi-Limited, one copy of that card is removed from the card pool. When a card is Limited, two copies of that card are removed from the card pool. When a card is Forbidden, three copies of that card are removed from the card pool. Your goal is to rebuild the banlist as best you can so that the size of the card pool under your banlist is exactly equal to the size of the card pool under Konami's banlist. So, for example, if Konami's list consisted solely of a single banned card, your list would need to consist solely of a single banned card, or of one Limited and one Semi-Limited card, or of three Semi-Limited cards. De facto bans do not count here. An example: unlimiting Metamorphosis will increase the card pool size by three, as three copies of Metamorphosis are returned to the card pool, but even though this also removes a de facto ban on cards like Ryu Senshi by granting them newfound playability, the "additional" Ryu Senshi's do not count as increasing the size of the card pool. You may make this list OCG-only, TCG-only, or Hybrid (a combination of OCG and TCG). If you choose TCG-only, then OCG-exclusive cards like Sixth Sense are ignored both in determining the size of Konami's list and in determining the size of your list. In the TCG, Konami's list (by my count) contains 41 Forbidden cards, 54 Limited cards, and 13 Semi-Limited cards, which means that a total of 244 cards have been excluded from the card pool. In the OCG (and Hybrid format), Konami's list (by my count) contains 42 Forbidden cards, 56 Limited cards, and 14 Semi-Limited cards, which means that a total of 252 cards have been excluded from the card pool. The contest ends whenever I feel like it. The prize will be something worthless like reps.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I was thinking about making a game like this, but it would be that each post someone chooses a card to move on the list (possibly take it off even), then list another card that they think should be on the list. I would try this, but I have no time whatsoever as of now to do so. I'm still working on a Fan-Fic, started a new game, and to top it all off I'm talking to a friend and my girlfriend xP Maybe some other time. Guest PikaPerson01
So, make a list excluding exactly 244 cards from the card pool then? Too tedious and time consuming. Considering half the board can't make a decent banlist, this pointless reps will probably just end up going to the person who sucks the least. I won't join, because I'm much too rich and good looking to bother spending my time researching card games. Especially since I haven't even looked at the banlist as a whole in a really long time, just taking it in as sections whenever whoever's in charge says something new's happened in March or September. Sorry Crab. Some other time. Good luck with this, I guess. <_<
