I mean, sitting down, opening your mind to the surrounding and sitting in peace do anything for you? Personally, I find it help me concentrate and just makes me a better person. Meditation will bring you closer to the rest of the world, do it outside, on a precarious perch of sorts, and you will be able to clear your mind.
