Jovi Siagian
It's a normal monster which doesn't have any effect. Their texts don't affect the Duel. See this for more informations about vanillas.
iKiller
Adding onto this question, do Fusion Monsters / Synchro Monsters with no effect still count as Vanilla's, or do they have to have Flavor Text?
Crystal Beast 123
I'm pretty sure that a Fusion Monster is a Fusion Monster even if it has no effect.
Sigma
Yes,but they should be treated as Vanillas, since they have no effect.
moneypony
they aren't treated as vannilas, you cannot reborn a dead fusion monster with no effect with birthright, they just show what monsters are required for the fusion, they are pretty much useless anyways. Shradow
Why do people call them vanillas? Why can't you just type "Normal Monster"? And why do people dislike them so much?
moneypony
1.vanillas is shorter and is a much cooler way to say it.2.^3.they are one of the worst cards in the game, there are usually monsters with the same or more ATK costing the same price(or less) to summon, and most people don't even run vanillas anymore unless they are tuners, supports a certain good card type,or they are running a deck with heart of the underdog. Phantom Roxas
Vanilla refers to the card color. People don't like them because they aren't that good in the current meta.
