Frlf
Thanks. I talked to Raven about it, and she was thinking about it, she needed to leave tough, and did not made it. I guess it's going to be added soon in polls, but anything can happen.Woot, Frlf actually did something.
Careless Whisper
Well' date=' I am more interrested on the second General Section mod idea...please inform us as soon as you make a final descision on it. That's the main thing I care about. Sure, I do care who it is, I'm alright if it wouldn't be me, so I do prefer it to be someone worthy of it. Infact, I suggest we also have a vote from the members so that the staff team can take YCM's public opinion into consideration as well. You want to appoint someone good, but not someone the public will disagree on as well...[/quote'] HTF would voting work? A poll? People would just vote for freinds. A poll of the mods prhaps? Well, the way it would work is that the staff team chooses 5 candidates that they deem worthy, and then they see which of the choices the members aggree on, and then they discuss the poll results and then they come down to a final descision! :) So this way, the moderators are the nominators, instead of the members. This will cut the likeliness of people nominating only themselves and their friends, as well as the fact that the ones who are nominated shouldn't be allowed to vote, because then there's the possibility of them voting for themselves and then completely throw off the balance. Another suggestion to add to this would be to only let one vote per I.P. Address, so that no one can just make another account (which is against the rules anyway) and then keep voting for the same person with different multi-accounts. Still, people would vote for friends.. :\.And altough you ''don't want to'' you're still talking the: ''ohIwanttobeamod'' language. They would only vote for friends if their friends are nominated by the Mods... and how am I saying that I want to be a mod when I'm suggesting that the mods nominate instead of myself? And yes, that polls suggestion is a nice idea.

Those were two separated toughts, thats why there is a dot (.).Many people like to socialize with ''popular'' members, and they are the ones they make friends the first, so yeah. Also, lets say You, Icyblue, and Draco were nominated for general mods. Results:Draco: 99%Meti: 0.5%Icyblue: 0.5% Thats a perfect example, most of the members would vote for Draco, for obvious reasons. Draco is most well known, and remember its an example, don't come up with ''But, Draco is banned and the mods wouldn't nominate him''. And thanks. RestLess-BoTics
Here's a couple of my opinions for choosing moderators: >I believe that each staff member of YCM should select at least three candidates' date=' in which all of the selected candidates go through a voting process in the moderator/administrator forum. Then, the top five candidates from results of the voting process, should be interviewed by at least two or more moderators. >Also, I've noticed that most of the threads that contain content such as, "Who do you think would make a good moderator?" have been locked. I understand that some were locked because a few members began to flame one another, but in my opinion, they shouldn't be locked - I don't believe they go against any of the rules of this site, and the thread could serve as a reference to the staff. That way, we can scrap the idea of another moderator application thread. :'] -Glasstin I still believe my recommendations are more suitable because: >One of my recommendations ensures that the staff of YCM receives the authority to have final say in a situation. >The other recommendation allows the members of YCM to play an active role in the choosing of new moderators by being able to discuss among themselves, who is most fitting for the position(s) - Their opinions will be referenced and taken into consideration, but not all the recommendations/opinions will be accepted. -Glasstin

Because saying things only once really gets them through your thick skulls, right?A majority of the old moderators should still be fired simply because they were not good leadership material. I should be reinstated for my excellent performance in operating my forum in the past. As for forum organization' date=' I propose something along the lines of this for General; everything is neatly categorized and concise. When I learned he had switched to a fan-fic mod, I knew he was out of his mind, because I never see him roleplaying except when I was on Drift, and he was so horrible that I knew he would screw things over with the roleplaying section on here, which he did succeed in doing, which is the main reason why I have now quit roleplaying on here. Careless Whisper
Well, I assume that the mods are not allowed to tell which candidates they nominated to be moderators, so I won't ask. What I would like to know is if I can have a list of all the suggested forums that the other members have suggested, in and outside of this thread. Because I would really like to see if there's any forum ideas that have not been siggested yet, becasue I have a few new ideas.

Cyber Altair
Or it was reset since the last update =\ Btw the Forum Team is cluttered with the fact that both Super mods and Former Mods appear on the mods list which is pretty stupid imo =\
